General


Parent/Teacher conferences are tonight from 5 – 7pm.


Attention students! Improve your grades and get your homework done and get tutoring if you need it Monday through Friday in the library from 3:00 to 4:00.


Today is the deadline to turn in your free or reduced lunch applications to your 2nd period teacher. Get your ticket so you can turn it in at lunch on the quad for a special treat!


Come “Cram the Van” out on the quad at break and lunch today through Thursday! This is our annual canned food drive! Which class will donate the most? Seniors? Juniors? Sophomores? Freshmen? The winning class will get to leave 6th period early for a treat! Top 3 individuals who donate the most cans will win lunch from In ‘n Out! If we match or exceed our donation amount from last year, the whole school will get to leave 5 minutes early for lunch.


Clubs and Classes


Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets today at lunch in room 117.


ETS meets today at noon in the Computer Lab.


Adult Education class starting time has changed to 3:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Meet Mr. Compton in the library computer lab.


Tomorrow is the first Book Club meeting at 7:15 am in the library. Stop by to join and get a breakfast snack. Everyone who comes will get a free new book to keep!


Friday Night Live is hosting a teen clothing drive for local families in need. Time to clean out your closet and make a difference! Place your gently used donations in the red “present” barrel in the admin office near attendance. The drive ends December 5th.


FIDM meets tomorrow at lunch in 40A. Bring your clothing designs with you!


Community Service


The Salvation Army is looking for “Bell Ringers” for several locations. If you are interested in volunteering to be a bell ringer, please pick up an information sheet in the Activities Office for times and locations. You must be 16 or older.


Seniors


Attention all Seniors: Due to the success of our NHS Football team, the Senior Lock-In will be postponed until further notice. Be sure that you go to the game: Go Titans!


Today is the last day to turn in your design for your senior shirts! Please take your ideas to Mr. McConnell in room 113.


Sports


Yes, there is a bus to the CIF game this Friday! First come, first served! There are only 64 tickets available. Tickets are $25 for the bus only. The bus will leave at 12:30 pm on Friday and will return at 2:30 am Saturday. Purchase your ticket and get your permission slip from the Activities Office.


Tickets for the game can be purchased at the game. $10 for adults and students without ID, $5 for students with ID and children.


Cheer Tryouts are being held from 3:00 to 5:00 in Olympic Hall. See Ms. Shakeri in room 129 for more info.
