The Student Store has recently re-stocked their sweatshirts, t-shirts, headbands and beanie selections and they are still doing the $2.00 Frito Boats on Fridays! Get on over there to check out the new merchandise!



Do you need some extra help raising your grades? Looking for a quiet place to get your homework finished? After school tutoring is available Monday-Friday from 3:00-4:00 in the Library. All are welcome.



Have you purchased your 2015 yearbook yet? Buy yours today in the Activities Office or online at jostensyearbooks.com. Current prices are $70 with ASB or $75 without ASB. Prices will go up February 1st.



Clubs and Classes


Our next Book Club meeting has been moved to Thursday, January 29th. This month's theme is Steampunk. Hope to see everyone there.



Come support the NHS drama department by having dinner at McLintock's in Arroyo Grande tonight as they raise money for their trip this summer to Scotland to participate in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Dinner starts at 4:00. Bring your family and friends. See you there.

AP Students! You can now pay for your AP exams(s) in the Activity Office. $91 per exam or $53 per exam for students qualified for our Free Reduced Lunch program. See your AP teacher or Mr. Dorn in room 142 for more details.



ETS, all grades, meets today at lunch in the computer lab.



Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) meets today at lunch in room 117.



If you are enrolled in Independent Study Health, there is a mandatory meeting at lunch today in room 117. You will be dropped from the class if you don’t show.



Second Semester Work Experience Students. Our first meeting of the year will today at 7:00 am in room 152.


Sports


Boys Golf practice will begin on Monday, February 2nd at Monarch Dunes. All interested players must have a clearance packet on file. See Coach Lindgren for more information.



Interested in being on the swim team? There will be a swim meeting today at lunch at the pool.




NHS Girls Basketball is hosting a Hoops for Hope event tonight for Cancer Awareness. JV Girls play at 5:00 and Varsity Girls play at 6:30pm. In an effort to raise awareness, join in on the efforts and wear PINK tomorrow or purchase a Hoops for Hope $10 T-shirt from Mrs. Mendez. Donations are still being accepted, see Mrs. Mendez for details.



Today’s Sports:



Girls Water Polo will be swimming at home vs Morro Bay. Varsity at 3:00 and JV at 4:00.


Boys Basketball will be away at Santa Maria today. Tip off times are 3:30 Frosh, 5:00 JV and 6:30 Varsity. Our team is currently 4-1 in league!!


Girls Basketball hosts Santa Maria today. Game times are JV at 5:00 and Varsity at 6:30. The girls are 3-2 in league standings.
