General


Hey all you Titans! Dodgeball is here again. Sign-ups are available on the Activities Office counter and are due no later than April 17th at lunch back to the Activities Office.


Tutoring is available Monday through Friday in the Library from 3:00 to 4:00.


The deadline to apply for Cal Poly's EPIC engineering summer program is today. See Mrs. Furlin in the library for more information.


The Allan Hancock College Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) center would like to invite all High school juniors, seniors and their families to learn about Allan Hancock College’s STEM program at our “Night of Discovery: STEM Open house”, tonight from 5:30-8:00pm. Participants will learn important information about financial aid, transitioning from high school to college, the transfer success process as well as meet AHC STEM staff and students. Spots are limited so please contact the AHC STEM center at 805-922-6966 ext. 3557 to reserve a spot or email [email protected] Refreshments will be provided!

Seniors

ATTENTION SENIORS –
If you are planning to attend Allan Hancock College next year the following information is incredibly important ---The NHS counseling department is providing Registration & an Online Orientation for seniors to make their transition to Hancock smoother.
Seniors will have two opportunities to sign-up for the registration & online orientation: either April 22nd OR April 24th. Students MUST sign up for one of these days in the counseling office. NHS will also offer START placement testing. More information to come. Remember, priority registration for fall 2015 classes begins May 13th. Make sure you have everything done prior to this date. See Mr. Hubbell or Mrs. Lewis if you have any questions.


Attention College Bound Seniors! Please give copies of any and all acceptance letters you have received from colleges or universities to your Gov’t/Econ teacher by Friday, April 24th. These letters will be posted around NHS to promote your high school achievement. Titan Pride!


Seniors! Are you excited to go to Six Flags? Tickets are on sale now in the Activities Office for $73. Last day to purchase them for this amount is April 17th. Prices will go up to $80 on the 18th. Don’t miss out!!


If you pre-ordered your cap and gown or any other graduation items from Jostens, please note that they will be here on Monday the 27th at lunch to distribute pre-paid orders.


Community Service


Anyone in need of community service hours, contact Coach Edwards. The Leo Club will be providing many opportunities for community service within the next few months.


Hey all of you students needing community service hours! The Track & Field coaches need YOU after school on Thursday, April 16th to help with the home Track & Field meet vs. Templeton. Show your Titan PRIDE and help the coaches and track team. There's a clipboard to sign up on the Activities Office counter, and then report Coach Boaz or Coach Rucker on the stadium field after school this Thursday!

Girls Volleyball: Spring practices will begin Monday April 13. Practice will be Monday through Thursday from 3-4 PM
