Attention all students; if you did not pick up the parent information packet before school started, please stop by the Attendance Office before school, at break, lunch or after school to pick up your packet. The packet has very important information for your family regarding the upcoming school year.
Due to safety concerns, starting on the first day of classes in the fall semester of the school year 2015-2016, the back row of Nipomo High School and Central Coast New Tech High School will be off limits for the student body at break and lunch; the back row goes from classroom 124 to 138. Exceptions will be made for students who need to participate in activities supervised by staff members. Thank you from the Nipomo High School Administrative Team.
Are you planning to drive to school this year? If so, it is mandatory that you purchase a parking permit. They are available in the Activities Office for $15. Student parking is in front of the gym. This will be strictly enforced this year.

Picture day is Thursday, August 27th. Be sure to bring your picture order form and payment with you that day.
NHS Back to School night will be Wednesday, September 2nd beginning with a Booster BBQ at 5:30 and the Principal’s welcome at 6:15. Bring your parents for a great evening of information and fun!
This year, every Monday will be a late start schedule with students arriving by 8:45 a.m. and school starting at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, school begins promptly at 7:45 a.m.
Sports
Attention all students interested in sports that have yet to join a team, there is still time! The following teams are still adding athletes: Boys Golf, Girls Tennis, Cross Country, Boys Water Polo, and Freshmen Girls Volleyball. None of those sports quite strikes your fancy? Well Frosh and JV Football are also still adding newcomers too. Head on out to practice after school and get some more information from coach before Fall sport rosters close.
Girls Tennis tryouts start this week and continue next week, Monday through Friday at the tennis courts from 3:15 – 5:15. Beginners are encouraged to come out!
