Attention all students; if you did not pick up the parent information packet before school started, please stop by the Attendance Office before school, at break, lunch or after school to pick up your packet. The packet has very important information for your family regarding the upcoming school year.
Parking permit tags have arrived!! They are available in the Activities Office for $15. Student parking is in front of the gym. This will be strictly enforced this year.

Clubs and Classes
Students! Do you want to take a Cuesta College class right here on the NHS Campus! The class is called "Introduction to Workplace Readiness," and will give you three college units and TEN (count 'em, TEN!) high school credits. This class will teach you the skills necessary to get and keep a job. It will meet after school in the Forum on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:55. The first class meeting is Wednesday, September 2nd at 3:00 in Room 128. Please make sure you have your social security # with you when you come to the class. The class will run from September 2 to November 4th. See you counselor for more details.
Hey all you flat ball fans... Ultimate Frisbee Friday's are back! Meet on the back fields at 3:00 with running shoes, water, and a disc if you have one and we will run, throw, and catch until we drop.

Girls Tennis tryouts continue through today at the tennis courts from 3:15 – 5:15. Beginners are encouraged to come out!
Planning on playing sports this year? Be sure to purchase your Sports Clearance Packet in the Activities Office. The $40 you pay includes the cost of your ASB card!
Are you looking for something to do this fall after school? How about joining the Boy’s Water Polo team? All interested student-athletes should stop by the gym or the pool to talk to Coach Lindgren. Knowing how to swim is a definite plus.
