Here are just a few of the state and national scholarships open to all high school seniors. These are NOT scholarships that are restricted to Nipomo High School students or graduates. Black College Expo and Scholarships - Due dates vary. Click on the link for specifics

Open to high school juniors or seniors, U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States. A student on a disbursement schedule must maintain a 2.0 GPA, provide proof of full-time enrollment each semester, up to date transcripts, and/or other relevant information. Recipient must notify NCRF of any changes to the Scholarship Requisition Form once submitted. Interested students must submit an essay of 500 words or less about “Why is a College Education Important to Me” or “Why should students think STEAM in the New Millennium.”

The College Board Opportunity Scholarships program is currently open to all class of 2020 and class of 2021 students in the United States, Puerto Rico, and US territories, regardless of citizenship status. Must complete six steps in the college application and scholarship process to be eligible.

 

SelectSpace Scholarship  - Deadline November 30th, 2020
Value: $500 (1 winner)
Qualifications: U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript.
Other: The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31, 2020. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.
