Local Scholarships

Below are scholarships applications links awarded to Lucia Mar Unified School District students. These scholarships require a separate application process, each with a link or contact information to access the application.
 
Please verify if the deadline signifies the application must be submitted, postmarked by or physically at the office of each community agency providing the scholarship.
- Phillips 66 is offering a $1,000 dollar scholarship to a student with a minimum of 3.5 GPA that will be attending a 4-year university.  Please complete and return the application below by January 31, 2019.
- California Retired Teachers Association is offering $1,000 scholarships to students with a minimum of a 3.5 GPA.  Please complete the application below and return it by February 22, 2019.
- American Legion Post 136 is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior.  Please complete the application below and return it by February 28, 2019.
- The Arroyo Grande Woman's Club is offering scholarships to graduating Seniors.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 1, 2019.
- The Arroyo Grande Woman's Club is offering a Visual Arts Scholarship.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 1, 2019.
- The Arroyo Grande Woman's Club is offering a Performing Arts Scholarship.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 1, 2019.
- The American Association of University Women are offering a scholarship to a student with a minimum 3.5 GPA who is planning to attend a four-year university in the Fall of 2019.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 5, 2019.
- The Elks are looking for one male and one female student to be awarded the Teenager of the Month award for every month of the school year.  At the end of the year, all teens of the month will be considered for one of two $1000 scholarships.  Please complete the application below and return it to Mrs. Hirase in the Career Center by March 22, 2019.
- The Nipomo Women's Club is offering scholarships to students with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.  Please complete the application below and return it to Mrs. Hirase by March 22, 2019.
- The California School Employees Association (CSEA) Lucia Mar Chapter 275 will be awarding scholarships to students who are dependents of CSEA members.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 29, 2019.
- The Rotary Club of Nipomo is looking to award scholarships to students planning to attend college.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 29, 2019.
- The Rotary Club of Nipomo is looking to award scholarships to students planning to attend a trade school, technical institute, or community college vocational program.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 29, 2019.
- The Nipomo Lions Club will be offering two scholarships to students who plan to continue their education full-time after high school.  Please complete the application below and return it to Mrs. Hirase by April 1, 2019.
- Jovenes Al Exito scholarship is applicable to seniors of Hispanic or Latino descent.  Please complete the application below or pick up a copy in the Career Center.  Applications are due April 1, 2019.
- The Central Coast Vietnam Veterans of America are offering a scholarship to a child, grandchild, or sibling of a veteran with a minimum GPA of 2.5  Please complete the application below and return it by April 12, 2019.
- Union Civica y Cultural Mexicana will be offering scholarships to one male and one female student of Mexican descent with a 2.0 or higher GPA.  Students planning on attending universities, community colleges, and trade schools are eligible.  Please complete the application below and return it to Mrs. Hirase by April 30, 2019.
- The Zach Elliott Memorial Scholarship will award one scholarship to a student who has participated in drama for 4 semesters or 2 years with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.  Please read the information below and return the essay to Mrs. Hirase by April 30, 2019.
- The Delaney Lemus Spirit of Sport Scholarship will be offered to Senior from the Girls Varsity Volleyball team.  Please complete the application below and return it by May 1, 2019.
- The Dr. Frederick C. Jones Leadership award is available to students with a 3.0 or higher GPA that have been enrolled in ASB for a minimum of 2 years.  Please see the application below and return it by May 10, 2019.
- The Kathleen Jones Mathematics Achievement award is available to students who have passed 4 years of math with a C or higher throughout high school.  Please complete the application below and return it by May 10, 2019.
- The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #136 is offering a scholarship to a student who has a parent or grandparent that was/is in the military.  Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA.  Please complete the application below and return it to Mrs. Hirase by May, 15, 2019.
