Graduation Requirements
Graduation Requirements
Each student shall earn a minimum of 235 credits. Included are these specific requirements:
English......................................................40 credits
Visual & Performing Arts/Foreign Lang....10 credits
Health.......................................................5 credits
Mathematics.............................................30 credits
(Must pass Algebra I)
Physical Education....................................20 credits
(10 credits required during 9th grade. Students must pass 5 of the 6 components for the Fitnessgram Test.)
Science......................................................20 credits
Social Studies*..........................................30 credits
Must include:
World History—10 credits
U.S. History—10 credits
American Government—5 credits
Economics—5 credits
Electives...................................................80 credits
Community Service:
*Juniors and seniors will be required to complete 10 hours per year of community service with a non-profit organization. Community Service Forms are available in the Counseling Office or through grade level Google Classroom.
