Teen's Closet is open on Wednesdays from 12-4 in Room 142. Students are welcome during lunch and after school.

This week is National Read Week and in the library we're celebrating Dr. Seuss' 113th birthday!! Did you know that the book Green Eggs and Ham was written to win a bet? Dr. Seuss was challenged to write a book using just 50 words. Stop by the library to enter contests and play in our Cat in the Hat photo booth.

Clubs/Classes

All 10th grade students will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday morning. Students will report directly to their testing rooms for first period. See your World History teacher for locations.


Get excited for lunch this Friday, as Project Teen Health will be leading a fun workout in the quad. Come out and do your best, prizes will be awarded to students who participate!

It's Tuesday and you know what time it is...Time for the Japanese Culture Club meeting at Lunch. Come and join us in Mr. Deichler's room 134.

It is time to apply for CSF again. Sophomores, this is your first opportunity to apply. If you had mostly A's and B's fall semester you might be eligible. Please pick up an application in Room 138.

There are currently 75 tickets left for Grad Night at Universal Studios. Get yours soon for $85 in the Activities Office.



Community Service

Sports
Crush Garcia took 3rd place at the State Finals this weekend. She is the first wrestler in Nipomo history to place at the State competition. Crush will now go on to compete at Nationals in Oklahoma in late March, where she has set her new goal of being a National Champion. Go Crush! Congratulations!

Anthony Lugo placed 3rd place at Masters this past weekend, the highest placing at that tournament by a male wrestler in Nipomo High School history. He will wrestling at state on Friday in Bakersfield. Congratulations Anthony and good luck at State!
