Community Service
If you need to accrue some community service hours, please sign up for opportunities to do so on the clipboard outside of Mr. Meloncon's office. There are opportunities to work as a food bank volunteer, tutor for elementary students in Guadalupe, or be a mentor buddy for an elementary student at a Nipomo area elementary school. Direct any questions to Mr. Meloncon in the counseling department.
Here is an opportunity for students to get much needed community service hours. On Saturday April 8, 2017 the Nipomo Recreation Association is having their annual Kids Day in the Park. There are numerous volunteer opportunities for students such as watching over bounce houses, games, an Easter egg hunt, manning a booth and more. The event is from 11am-2pm but they will need students starting around 9am and finishing at 3pm. Please contact Jeff Long at 805-215-9295, or come by the office which is located in the gym now, or email him at [email protected].
