General

Refunds for the Spring Dance tickets will be handed out today at break and lunch at the Activities Office counter.

It's time for our library’s 4th annual Peeps Diorama Contest!! Prizes included gift certificates to In-N-Out Burger, Regal Cinemas, and Barnes and Nobel. All entries are due next Friday, April 7th. Stop by to talk to Mrs. Matsuura in the library for more information.

Teen's Closet is open on Wednesdays from 12-4 in Room 142. Students are welcome during lunch and after school.

Reminder - After school tutoring is available in the library from 3:00-4:00 every Monday - Thursday.

Please wear your higher education gear this Thursday and every Thursday! Higher education includes college, military, and any other educational program after high school. You are allowed to wear mascots as long as the name of the organization is visible as well.


Clubs/Classes

Join Project Teen Health's Club tomorrow in the library during lunch. Try out some healthy food and sign up for the upcoming Color Run. New members always welcomed.

Attention ETS students: There is a lunch workshop today in room 130 for seniors only. If you are a senior, stop by room 130 during lunch. If you are interested in going to Cal Poly's Open House on April 8th, see your ETS advisor for a permission slip. They are due next Wednesday. See you all in room 130 at lunch.


There is still time to pre-order your 2017 yearbook! Supplies will be limited at the end of the year and the price will go up. Order yours today in the Activities Office...prices are $75 with an ASB sticker, $80 without.

Juniors! Have you taken your SAT Test yet? The deadline for the May 6th test is April 7th, which is right around the corner. Go to collegeboard.org to register./ See your counselor for additional details.

Attention all 10th graders: Are you interested in getting some practice for the ACT??? We will be offering the ACT Aspire test (which is a practice ACT test) on April 27 during periods 1-4. Please see Mr. Hubbell or Mrs. Kia ASAP to register… space is limited!


Current Upward Bound students – yearly renewal applications and applications for Summer Academy are BOTH due by April 7th. Pick up the forms at Tuesday’s After School Sessions or on the Cal Poly Upward Bound website – www.sas.calpoly.edu/ub .

Friday Night Live meeting today at lunch in room 126. If you want an opportunity to meet cool people and have a positive impact on your community, stop by and get ready to make a difference. See you for FNL in room 126.


Seniors

SENIORS- Be sure to get your 20 hours of community service completed soon. Your hours must be complete in order to participate in Senior Activities—this include the Senior Trip too!


Many scholarships are due soon, so go to nhstitans.org under Academics and click Scholarships OR check your LMUSD email address for more info.

There are currently 50 tickets left for Grad Night at Universal Studios. Get yours soon for $85 in the Activities Office.
