General


After school tutoring is available in the library from 3:00-4:00 every Monday - Thursday.

Manhattan Rooftop Prom tickets are on sale now! Prices are $45 with an ASB card, $50 without. Prices after Spring Break will be $55 with ASB and $60 without, so don’t wait until the last minute to get your tickets! Prom is April 29th.

Want to win free Prom tickets? Then listen up Titans because we are holding a competition for the best Promposal! Send in videos of your Promposal to the NHS Instagram account for a chance to win those free Prom tickets! Deadline is April 12, so start asking!


It's time for our library’s 4th annual Peeps Diorama Contest!! Prizes included gift certificates to In-N-Out Burger, Regal Cinemas, and Barnes and Nobel. All entries are due this Friday, April 7th. Stop by to talk to Mrs. Matsuura in the library for more information.

Remember that we rise by lifting others. The Blood Drive signups are today on the quad. The drive will be on April11th. Don’t forget to sign up!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Come see the next Hysterical Artist Improv Show on Wednesday, April 12th in the NHS Forum. Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:00pm. Cost is only $5 at the door. Come see our newbies in their first show!

Calling all Frisbee fans…We will be playing Ultimate Frisbee this Friday at 3:00 on the athletic fields next to the girls’ softball diamond. Bring water, running shoes and a desire to run!


Attention all 10th graders: We will be offering the ACT Aspire test (which is a practice ACT test) here at NHS. Please stop by the Activities Office to register... the test costs $35 and scholarships are available. The last day to register is this TODAY... Hurry, space is limited! See Mrs. Kia or Mr. Hubbell with questions.

It’s that time again! The Special Olympics will be held on May 5th. Please come support your Nipomo athletes if you are free! If you are interested in purchasing one of our shirts for $10, see Mrs. Teixeira in the activities office. Add an additional $1 for additional X on sizing. Shirts will be sold through April 12th!


There is still time to pre-order your 2017 yearbook! Supplies will be limited at the end of the year and the price will go up. Order yours today in the Activities Office...prices are $75 with an ASB sticker, $80 without.

Juniors! Have you taken your SAT Test yet? The deadline for the May 6th test is tomorrow. Go to collegeboard.org to register. See your counselor for additional details.

Seniors

SENIORS- Be sure to get your 20 hours of community service completed soon. Your hours must be complete in order to participate in Senior Activities—this include the Senior Trip too!

Many scholarships are due soon, so go to nhstitans.org under Academics and click Scholarships OR check your LMUSD email address for more info.

There are currently 39 tickets left for Grad Night at Universal Studios. Get yours soon for $85 in the Activities Office.


Community Service


Saturday April 8th is the Nipomo Recreation Association’s
Annual Kids Day in the Park. If you need community service hours, please contact Jeff Long at 805-215-9295, or come by the office which is located in the gym now, or email him at [email protected]. If you want to help with the Easter Egg Hunt set-up, see Ralph Hernandez at the park baseball field at 9am.
