General

We have the winners of this year's Peep Diorama contest!! For Best Depiction of a Book the winner is Claire Wellenkamp and her The Peep, the Witch, and the Wardrobe diorama. For Creativity the winner is Savannah Cultbertson with her Lorax diorama. And for Humor the winner is Alex Alcantar and his Zombie Attacks diorama. A huge thank you to everyone who entered! Winners, please stop by the library tomorrow to pick up your prize!


Titan Night 2017 is here!!! Join us tonight for our 4th Annual Titan Night. Come enjoy a BBQ sponsored by Boosters, see department showcases, and performances by Dance, Cheer, Drama, Band, and our own County Poetry Out Loud winner Graciela Maldonado. Hey Titans! today is the turn in day for all ASB application packets. Turn yours in at room 102 or to Mrs. Anderson. Applications are still available on the counter in the Activities Office. And, don’t forget, there is a mandatory meeting for all applicants at lunch in room 102 today as well.


Manhattan Rooftop Prom tickets are on sale now! Prices are $45 with an ASB card, $50 without. Prices after Spring Break will be $55 with ASB and $60 without, so don’t wait until the last minute to get your tickets! Prom is April 29th.

Bringing a guest from another school to the Prom? Make sure you get a Guest Pass completed and turned in as soon as possible. Deadline is Tuesday, April 25th at 4:00.


After school tutoring is available in the library from 3:00-4:00 every Monday - Thursday.

Students, are you interested in a career in the medical field? Then check out the Physician Mentoring Program for students 17 years or older this summer! The program runs 6-8 weeks from June- August with a 3 to 5 day per week commitment. Students will be provided the opportunity to witness and understand the importance of professions in the medical field. Students will shadow doctors on their rounds, in the ER, and even in the operating room! See you counselor for more details. Spots are limited, so act now!

Calling all Frisbee fans…We will be playing Ultimate Frisbee this Friday at 3:00 on the athletic fields next to the girls’ softball diamond. Bring water, running shoes and a desire to run!

There is still time to pre-order your 2017 yearbook! Supplies will be limited at the end of the year and the price will go up. Order yours today in the Activities Office...prices are $75 with an ASB sticker, $80 without.



Seniors

Attention Seniors! Your pre-ordered graduation caps and gowns are ready to be picked up. If you have a balance due, please bring your payment to the Jostens table. Jostens will be on campus today at lunch only on the Quad. If you still need to order, visit Jostens/com.

SENIORS- Be sure to get your 20 hours of community service completed soon. Your hours must be complete in order to participate in Senior Activities—this include the Senior Trip too!

Many scholarships are due soon, so go to nhstitans.org under Academics and click Scholarships OR check your LMUSD email address for more info.

There are currently less than 10 tickets left for Grad Night at Universal Studios. Get yours soon for $85 in the Activities Office.
