General

Manhattan Rooftop Prom tickets are on sale now! Prices are $55 with ASB and $60 without. Don’t wait until the last minute to get your tickets! Prom is April 29th. Last Day to purchase is Thursday, April 27th.

Please wear your higher education gear this Thursday and every Thursday! Higher education includes college, military, and any other educational program after high school. You are allowed to wear mascots as long as the name of the organization is visible as well.


Earth Camp 2017 Announcement!
If you are going to be a junior or senior in the 2017-2018 school year, you are eligible to apply to apply to the counselor in training (CIT) program for Rancho El Chorro’s Earth Camp over the summer. If selected you will be trained and have the chance to work as camp counselor over the summer and earn $350 dollars a week. See Mr. Meloncon (Mal-lan-san) in counseling to get more information or pick up an application.


Teen's Closet is open on Wednesdays from 12-4 in Room 142. Students are welcome during lunch and after school.

Clubs/Classes

Attention ETS students: The lunch workshop today is for seniors only. If you are a senior and haven't met with your ETS advisor, stop by room 130 during lunch for your senior exit interview and an invitation for the senior banquet. If you are unable to attend at lunch, you can see your advisor at the Career Center anytime today.

Join Project Teen Health's Club tomorrow in the library during lunch. Try out some healthy food and sign up for the upcoming events. New members always welcomed.

Link Crew Wants YOU! We are recruiting to build our Link Crew Club and Class for the 2017-18 school year. Pick up your application from the activities office or room 126. We are looking for people ready to make a positive impact and welcome our incoming freshmen! Have questions, ask a Link Crew member or Mrs. Conrad. Can't wait for you to join our crew! Applications are due to Conrad on May 5th!

There is still time to pre-order your 2017 yearbook! Supplies will be limited at the end of the year and the price will go up. Order yours soon in the Activities Office...prices are $75 with an ASB sticker, $80 without.

Juniors! And super motivated sophomores! The deadline to apply for the June 3rd SAT test is May 9th. Sign up at collegeboard.org



Seniors

If you missed picking up your pre-paid graduation items when Jostens was here earlier this month, please come to the activities office to get your order.

Seniors who are going to Hancock Next Year...Students who have completed the START test, New Student Orientation, and Academic Advising Workshop will be eligible to register online, through their myHancock account, beginning at 8:00AM on May 3rd. You know what they say......the early bird gets the worm! Or the best classes and times!


SENIORS- Be sure to get your 20 hours of community service completed soon. Your hours must be complete in order to participate in Senior Activities—this include the Senior Trip too!

Many scholarships are due soon, so go to nhstitans.org under Academics and click Scholarships OR check your LMUSD email address for more info.

There are currently less than 5 tickets left for Grad Night at Universal Studios. Get yours soon for $85 in the Activities Office.


Community Service

Titans, are you looking for a great and fun way to get community service hours? SENIORS if you still need hours listen up....! The Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center is looking for student volunteers to help out at their Spring Dance, this Friday, April 28th. Dance and have fun... and you will get 3 hours of community service! Please see Mrs. Kia or Mr. Hubbell for more details.

All boys interested in playing Nipomo High Basketball - there is an informational lunch meeting this Thursday at 12:20 in Mr. Deichler's classroom, room 134. Come meet our new Varsity Coach and get important information about NHS Basketball.


If you love to cheer, tumble, jump, or dance then come to room 103 during lunch today for an information meeting about next year's NHS Sideline Cheer Team! We will be discussing tryout dates, uniforms, and summer cheer camp. All levels are welcome! We hope to see you there! Go Titans!
