A new ASB Do You Know What You Owe list, as of 05/17/17, has been posted in the Activities Office Window. Please pay any outstanding debts as soon as possible so you will be able to participate in all the fun end of the year activities.
Please check with the Library and Cafeteria to see if you have any debts with them and take care of that as soon as possible.
Get your Boat Regatta packets from the counter in the Activities Office. Packets will be due May 24th.
Reminder - After school tutoring is available in the library from 3:00-4:00 every Monday - Thursday.
If your family sometimes struggles to have enough food, you can come to the Womensade monthly food distribution at Nipomo Elementary School to help with your needs. The distribution day happens once a month, and there are no questions asked. You just have to show up. Sometimes toys and clothing are made available for participants to receive. You don’t have to reside in Nipomo or apply to participate, just show up. An information slip with information about dates and times over the summer can be found outside of Mr. Meloncon’s office in the Admin bldg.

Wednesday, 5/24 is the last day to pre-order yearbooks. Seniors can start picking up their yearbooks during break and lunch on Thursday. All other grades may start picking up their books on Tuesday, 5/30 during break and lunch.

Seniors! You will be recording your audio senior dedications in your Government or Econ class today and tomorrow. If you do not have a Gov or Econ class, please pick up a senior audio dedication form on the Activities Office counter today! If you do not have a Gov or Econ class, you will record on Wednesday, May 24th during lunch.
If you recently pre-ordered and paid in full for your Josten’s order, another shipment has arrived. Please come to the activities office to pick it up. If you have not ordered your cap and gown, pick up an information card in the Activities Office.
SENIORS-there are a handful of scholarship opportunities still available from our local donors. Check out our website to get some money for college or your vocational trade NOW!
SENIORS- Be sure to get your 20 hours of community service completed soon and all debts (library, textbook, Activities, cafeteria). Your hours must be complete in order to participate in Senior Activities. This include the Senior Trip too!
Community Service
Nipomo Elementary School is having an Open House on this Thursday 5/25/17 and would like to offer any students looking to earn community service hours a chance to do so by volunteer to help with an Ice Cream Fundraiser at the event by serving toppings on sundaes. Students participating should report to Nipomo Elementary School by 5:00. The event ends at 7:30, or sooner if the ice cream runs out. please email Mr. Meloncon to confirm if you are interested at [email protected]
For students wanting earn community service hours over the summer, The Nipomo Foodbank (Womensade) will provide you with a chance to volunteer at their monthly food distribution day at Nipomo Elementary School. You can also earn hours volunteering to tutor students attending elementary summer school. Flyers with info on days for the foodbank and forms to sign up as a tutor are available outside Mr. Meloncon’s (Mal-lan-san) office in the Admin Bldg.
