General

If you have not picked up your NEW reprinted ID or ASB card, please do so in the Activities Office.

If you are driving to school and have not purchased a $15 parking pass, please do so. Parking tickets are $20. Get your application in the Activities Office. Reminder:
Student parking is in front of the gym.

Picture retake day has been rescheduled for today. If you did not get your picture take at Roundup, please be sure to get it done! These photos will be used for the yearbook and your student ID cards. Order forms will be available in the front office and at the Activities Office.

Redeem your Titan Bolts at the Titan PRIDE cart in the quad during break and lunch on Tuesdays! Reward yourself with snacks, clothes, and other amazing prizes!



Clubs/Classes

Cal Poly Upward Bound after school session is tomorrow in the library conference room from 3pm – 5pm and will meet every week on Tuesdays. More information about this college prep program is available by emailing [email protected]


Are you interested in Japanese Culture? Do you crush Crunchy Roll or love vocaloids? Well you might just be interested in the Japanese Culture Club. We meet in Mr. Deichler's room 134 tomorrow at lunch. See you there.

Students! Do you like to attack your enemy? To force their King into submission? No, I'm not talking about Game of Thrones...we're talking about the newest club on campus, the CHESS CLUB. We meet in the library every Wednesday for a friendly game of chess. Beginners are welcome.

Juniors! Remember to register for the PSAT in the activities office. The test is on Saturday, October 14th, from 7:45 - 12:00 noon. The cost is $20.00. If paying by check, make it payable to NHS ASB.

Please join us every Tuesday from 3:00-4:00 in the library for our weekly workshops. Next week's topic is College. Come prepared with any questions you have about college and the financial aid process.

There are several colleges who have scheduled visits for September and October. Please come to the Career Center to view the list of colleges and to sign-up to attend any of the presentations. You must sign-up in order to attend.

Attention Juniors and Seniors, Allan Hancock Community College is hosting their annual Career Exploration day on Friday, October 6th. Please see Mrs. Lattimer in the Counseling Office to pick up a permission slip if you are interested in attending.

Cuesta College will be offering a Workplace Readiness Fundamental course on campus beginning October 2nd. By taking this course, you can earn 10 high school and 3 college credits. Please see your counselor for more information.




Seniors

Seniors! Don't forget to attend College Night for Seniors tonight if you are planning on applying to a four-year university. Important information will be provided on the application process for the CSU, UC and private universities. Time is 5:30 - 7:00 in the Forum.

Sports

All students trying out for a sport or doing preseason workouts must have their Family ID information on file as well as a current sports physical from a doctor. See Mrs. Teixeira or Mr. Deichler for more information.
