Clubs/Classes

There will be a Public Safety Club Meeting next Wednesday, Nov. 8th at lunch in Mr. Lindgren's classroom (room 148). Any students interested in competing in the upcoming SkillsUSA competition need to attend.

Hear ye, hear ye! The National Honor Society Club requests that all scholars submit their application along with their $15 membership fee and transcript to Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities Office by today. Be mindful of meeting the deadline, as your membership in this prestigious club depends on it!

Don't miss NHS Theatre's first show of the year, The Addams Family! Macabre, Maniacal, Malevolent Wednesday falls in love with sweet, saccharine, straight-laced Lucas. Worse: she has invited him and his family over for dinner….
The show runs tonight and tomorrow at 7pm thru Nov 4th in Olympic Hall. Doors open at 6:30. Students $10/ Adult $12.

Career Center

We have 3 college presentations scheduled for the upcoming weeks; UCLA, Colorado Mesa University, and the University of the Pacific.

The Plumbers and Pipefitters Union will be here on November 7th from 11:16am - 12:14pm to discuss a career in the trades.

Please stop by the Career Center to sign-up to attend any of these presentations.

The Titan Boys cross country team ended their league season with a bang and qualified for the CIF prelims! Huge congratulations to the league champion Devon Diaz! Right behind him in 2nd place overall was New Tech Titan Joe Gocke. 10th grader James Stuart ran an amazing race for a Titan 3rd, 11th grader Jesus Hinojosa was 4th, and fab Freshman Jake Edwards was 5th! Rounding out the team was Chris Downing and Carson Murray. Selected as alternates for CIF are Fab Freshmen Damon Cortez, Jack Wellenkamp, and Austin Boersma. For the girls, Mackenzie Wisneski finished 14th to earn all- league honors.


Attention all Fall Sport Athletes still participating in their Fall sport.... if you are interested in playing Boys Soccer this year then stop by Soccer practice at the back fields on Monday, November 6th AFTER your Fall sport practice. We would like to know who will be trying out for Boys Soccer when their Fall sport ends.

All Freshmen and Sophomores trying out for Boys basketball, our tryout time has changed on Monday. Tryouts will be after school from 3-5PM. This time change only affects Monday’s tryout.

NHS Girls Soccer 2017-18 Season has started. Practice time is 3:15 to 5:30 on the Girls Softball outfield. Please bring appropriate soccer gear.

Attention Girl Wrestlers - Girls Wrestling is practicing today! Please plan to participate in Study Hall after school from 3:15 - 4:15, then practice in the wrestling room from 4:30-6:30

All students trying out for a sport or doing preseason workouts must have their Family ID information on file as well as a current sports physical from a doctor. See Mrs. Teixeira or Mr. Deichler for more information.
