General

Hey Titans! Have you ever wanted to emcee an event or sing The National Anthem? Well here is your chance. We have a Rally coming up and need emcees and singers. Come to the ASB room @ lunch on March 20th, that is next Tuesday, to audition. We can’t wait to see you there!

Did you miss last week’s dodgeball game during lunch in the gym? If so, do not worry! You have another opportunity, come to the gym today at lunch and watch the Salty Crew vs. The Team. Come battle it out for a chance to win!

Attention all Superheroes! Please support Project Teen Health’s Superhero 5K Fundraiser run this Saturday, March 17th at the Alex Madonna Expo Center in SLO. Costumes encouraged. All fitness levels welcomed! The 5K will begin at 8:30am. To register for the 5K, talk to a PTH counselor in the office of Mr. David.

Thursday wear higher education gear from your favorite college or military division.


Clubs/Classes

Attention ETS (Educational Talent Search) students: There is an ETS workshop today after school in the library conference room. If you are interested in learning about college majors, make sure to stop by.

Students...There is still time to sign up for the Cuesta College Workplace Readiness class. Class meets TODAY (Wednesday) at 3:30 in Room 128, and counselors can help you register on the spot. Remember, the class is worth 3 college units and TEN high school credits. No, I am not kidding. 10! Show up to Room 128 at 3:30 to join the class...

Titan PRIDE Club meeting will be today at Lunch in Room 144!

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets today at lunch in Room 117 for pizza and fellowship. Come and join us!

The Chess Club will meet in the library today at lunch. All levels are welcome, even beginners! Stop on by and checkmate it out! Get it?

Ultimate Frisbee club will meet after school on Friday from 3:00 to 5:00pm on the athletic fields. Bring water, comfortable running shoes, and tons of energy.



Career Center/Library

Attention Juniors and Seniors who took the ASVAB, your scores are now in! Please see Mrs. Hirase in the Career Center either sign-up to have them interpreted or to pick up a copy of them.

Library news: Get your Peep on! Our 5th annual Peeps Diorama competition has begun! Submit your diorama to the library by Friday, March 23rd and you could win movie passes, Subway gift cards and more! Stop by for a flyer for full instructions and rules. If you would like to make one but don’t have the supplies, talk to Mrs. Matsuura in the library.


Seniors

SENIORS if you have purchased a yearbook, Senior Quotes are due by March 15th. Write them on a piece of paper and turn them in to Mrs. Susank in Room 101.



Community Service

Nipomo Recreation is offering the opportunity for community services hours for those that are still looking for some to fulfill their commitment to graduate. We are having our annual Kid's Day in the Park with Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24th. We have many jobs to offer throughout the day; work a portion, work them all, this is up to you! The hours are from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Please come to the recreation office in the lobby of the NHS Johnson Gym to sign up or to have any questions answered.
