It is that time of year… Save the date because our Junior/Senior prom is Saturday, April 28th. Tickets will go on sale the day we return from Spring Break, April 9th. Don’t delay buy them before it is too late! Prices are $45.00 with an ASB card and $55.00 without.
Come out to the quad at lunch to watch Allan Hancock’s Dance Troop perform some amazing cultural dances to wrap up our first ever culture week. After the performance, we will be revealing 2018 Prom theme. Hope to see you there!

Our Junior winner of the month is: Ashlie Andrade: She juggles academics, sports, dance company, and many FFA responsibilities. She has high expectations for herself and works hard on all task even if it means a personal sacrifice. She is humble, kind, caring, and hard working. She represents numerous characteristics but Respect stands out.
Our Senior winner of the month is: Tucker Banta: Mr. Banta is an incredible young man. He exhibits Respect in all that he does. He powers through difficult situations without complaining or making excuses.He is always the first to volunteer to accomplish a task that others do not want to do. He is kind, hard working, respectful and strives to be his best in all that he sets out to do.
Clubs/Classes
Today is the last day to buy your Banda Dance tickets. $10.00 with an ASB card and $15.00 without. Reminder doors open at 6:30pm for some quick dance lessons so don’t be shy if you don’t know how to dance, we’ll teach you!
Attention students, summer school applications are now available! If you need to take a class in summer school please stop by the counseling office to pick up a summer school application. Space is limited! See your counselor with any questions!
Ultimate Frisbee club will meet after school today from 3:00 to 5:00pm on the athletic fields. Bring water, comfortable running shoes, and tons of energy.
Career Center/Library
Attention Sophomores and Juniors, Cal Poly will be hosting the annual Women in Leadership: Defining her Future conference on April 20th and we would love for you to come! As a bonus, they will be awarding a scholarship to one NHS student who attends. Please see Mrs. Hirase in the Career Center to pick-up a permission slip. Space is limited, so get yours as soon as possible.
Seniors
Attention Class of 2018! The last day to buy your Grad Night ticket is Friday, April 13th. The price is $85.00 get yours ASAP and join the SENIOR fun!
Seniors who did not pick up their prepaid Josten's orders on Monday can pick them up from Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities Office at break, lunch or after school.
Community Service
Do you need community service hours? You can earn 4 hours by volunteering at the "We Heart AG" event for Earth Day on Sunday, April 22nd. Stop by the counseling office for more info on how to sign up!
Coach Rucker needs your help at upcoming home track meets! After school on April 11 and April 17. You must sign up to volunteer and receive community service hours. See Ms. Bottrell at the reception desk in the office to sign up!
