General

Hey Renaissance students! It is Renaissance time! TODAY we are having our first ever Field Day… Get pumped, we are having a tri-tip lunch along with some competitive class competitions. Do not forget to wear your class colors! The games are blind volleyball, water-balloon toss, football throw and capture the flag! Remember, the field day begins AFTER lunch during 5th and 6th. Report directly to the football field. Once you are in you must stay until school ends. We call this mandatory fun. Can't wait to celebrate you!

Titans! Grab your passports and boarding passes because the prom plane is taking off. This year’s theme is Around the World and we are ready for you to travel along this life-changing experience! Prom will be held at Mountainbrook Church on Saturday, April 28th. Tickets can be bought in the Activities Office for $45.00 with an ASB and $55.00 without. Guest passes are also available and due Thursday, April 19th! Hope to see you on board!

With that being said… Do you have a song you’d like to jam out to at prom? Here is your chance… Check your school email to request a song to be played. See you on the dance floor!

Also, would you like to win free prom tickets for you and your special date? Our Promposal Contest is now up and running. Post a video or picture of your Promposal on Instagram with the hashtag #NHSPROMPOSAL2018 to be entered! Good luck!

What's with all the campaign posters on campus? We are in the process of choosing our ASB Executive Council members for the 2018-2019 school year and the election portion of the process will be held on Friday. Election results count for 25% of the candidates overall score. The other scored portions are the Interview (25%), Teacher recommendations (25%) and the application (25%). Be sure to check your LMUSD email account today to access the ballot. Winners will be announced next week. Good luck to all candidates.
