General



Students... listen closely, a lot of important information in today's bulletin!



If you got your photo taken on retake day, your ID/ASB card is ready to be picked up in the Activities Office. Please come before school, at break, lunch or after school to get yours.


Hey Titans! The Homecoming Dance is just a few weeks away. If you’re planning on bringing a guest to this year’s dance, you can now pick up a Guest Form in Mrs. Teixeira’s office, the Activity Office. They will be due Friday, October 5th! We can’t wait to see everyone there!



2nd period teachers please remember to elect your student senator. Please fill in the Google Form by the end of today!



Do you need some extra help with one of your classes? Wanna study for that next test? Come to the After-School Program on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's and get some help maintaining those good grades! The After-School Program will end at 5pm everyday and guess what - DINNER and Transportation are provided! Hope to see you there!



Would you like to be apart of the Homecoming Rally? Come down this Wednesday to audition for the National Anthem at lunch in the ASB room - see you there!

Clubs / Classes



This is your last week to get your steps in for Project Teen Health's Step-Tember Challenge! Track your steps and check in to help your school come out on top and earn the grand prize! It's not too late to join, register online through Project Teen Health's Instagram @ProjectTeenHealth, through facebook.com/projectteenhealth, swipe up on our recent snap on Snapchat @PTH-CAPSLO or sign-up in person at the Project Teen Health Office in the Health Center



Students-- The Cuesta College Intro to Workplace Readiness class starts on Monday, October 1st. It will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 - 6:30. The last class meeting is December 5th. Students will receive 10 high school elective credits for completing the course, and 3 college units. Students will learn about getting and keeping a job, complete a resume, and have a mock job interview. All students can sign up for the class. See your counselor to sign up.



The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is now accepting applications from Juniors and Seniors. You are eligible to apply and become a member of this prestigious group of California students if you earned at least 3-A's and 1-B on your June 2018 report card. Please pick up an application from Mrs. Bellew in room 138 at break or lunch. Applications will be due October 5th.



Attention all girls who surf or want to surf, the AG Surf Team needs girls who are interested in joining the team and competing against other high schools. You will be coached by local professional surfers Braden Jones and Joel Bishop. No matter your skill level, you will be able to compete! Email Guy Jones at [email protected].



Sophomores, are you interested in helping with our Homecoming Float? If so, there will be an informational meeting tomorrow, at lunch in Ms. Smoot’s Room, 133. Come and help brainstorm float themes and sign-up to help create it.



Attention to those interested in healthy eating! Would you like to encourage others to eat healthy? Perhaps, you would like to learn more about healthy eating for yourself! Come join our support group for healthy eating today in the library.



Career Center / Library


Juniors and Seniors, Career Exploration Day at Hancock will be on Friday, October 5th. You can pick up a permission slip from the Career Center if you would like to attend. Space is limited, so sign-up as soon as possible.





Seniors


Seniors!! Remember to have your senior portraits taken by Oct 14th from an approved NHS photographer. To see a list of NHS photographers go to the Nipomo Website and look under Activities and then Yearbook. Under yearbook you can find links to Senior portraits and Senior ads.

Community Service


Calling all helpers! Harloe Elementary will be hosting a Family Math Night this Thursday, September 27th from 6-7:30pm. Sports



All boys interested in trying out for boys soccer this year, there will be a mandatory informational meeting at the beginning of lunch tomorrow, Sept. 26th in the Forum. Conditioning and try-out dates will be discussed!



Attention athletes interested in Boys Wrestling… Practices will begin Monday, October 1st, in the wrestling room. We’ll practice Monday thru Thursday from 3:30 - 5:00. Get your Family ID registration (done online) and physical paperwork finished so you can participate.
