General



Titans! Tomorrow is Halloween! If you are wanting to dress up tomorrow, please remember, YOU MUST follow dress-code. No masks and no look-alike, fake or real weapons. Come out to the quad at lunch for some musical chairs.

Clubs / Classes



Attention to those interested in healthy eating! Would you like to encourage others to eat healthy? Perhaps, you would like to learn more about healthy eating for yourself! Come join our support group for healthy eating today in the library.

Looking to have fun and promote positive choices, come to the Friday Night Live meeting TODAY and every Tuesday at lunch in room 126. Everyone is welcome! Come check out FNL and see how awesome leadership can be!


It's time for the Titan Fall Music Performance tonight at 7:00pm in Olympic Hall. Featuring Band, Pop Music and Jazz Band tributes to the Beatles, GhostBusters and Phantom of the Opera. There will be prizes for best costume single and group. NHS students $2, general admission $5, children under 10 free! There will be lots of candy and goodies!



The first show of the season is here. The comedy Fools by Neil Simon plays in Olympic Hall for one weekend and one weekend ONLY! The show opens this Thursday, November 1st at 7:00pm, doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $8.00 for students and $10.00 for adults. This is a show you do not want to miss! Tickets can be purchased in the Activities Office.



Are you interested in learning how to shop for healthy food at the Grocery Store? Project Teen Health is hosting a FREE Nutrition Workshop at your local grocery store, Vons, Thursday, November 8th at 6:30pm. Our Health Coaches will guide you through each aisle teaching you and your family how to make healthy and budget-friendly food choices. Plus a FREE bag of groceries with every tour. Sign-up at the Nurses Office. Space is limited. Reserve your spot Today.



Career Center / Library

There are several colleges scheduled to come speak with our students over the next two weeks including UCLA, UCSB, Cal Poly, and many others. Please visit the Career Center for more information.

Seniors



The Senior Panorama is coming up on Thursday, November 1st. Seniors make sure to wear all black to represent our class color and you can purchase a copy of this picture for $15.00.



Seniors-- The late registration deadline for the SAT on November 3rd is Wednesday, October 24th. Go to collegeboard.org to register, or see Mr. Hubbell or Mrs. Hirase if you need help registering.


Community Service


Attention all those that need volunteer hours. Nipomo Recreation is looking for individuals that want to connect with the youth of Nipomo through the game of basketball. The season is almost here and we are still looking for a few coaches and referee's.This is a fun and rewarding way of getting your volunteer hours done before graduation. If you are interested in coaching please contact Jeff Long at the recreation office in your Titan Gymnasium Lobby or at [email protected].



Harloe Elementary will be hosting a Beautification Day on November 15th from 3-5 to help clean up the school. Please contact Harloe Elementary office at 805-474-3710 for more information.

Sports



Attention to all Boys interested in playing soccer this season, we are meeting at the soccer fields after school everyday this week. Tryouts are next week. Please be sure to be there and have your family ID and physical forms turned in. We look forward to seeing you there and to a great season!



Attention Girls interested in playing basketball this season, this is a reminder that TONIGHT is Day 2 of Try-Outs, from 3-5pm in the gym.
