General



Tomorrow’s spirit day is Ghost of Christmas Past. Show up to school wearing all white. Make sure to keep racking up those class spirit points, Titans! You will receive a powdered donut in the morning as a reward for participating!



Receive a special treat tomorrow at lunch, if you have a December birthday, see you on the quad!



Hey Titans, get your candy-cane grams in the quad Wednesday through Friday at lunch. Small candy canes are 50 cents and large candy canes are $1. Make sure to send your friends some sweet holiday cheer. Bring your money and send as many grams as you want. Grams will be delivered to their second period classes on Monday. Did you know that one donation of blood can potentially save up to 3 lives according to the American Red Cross. The blood drive is taking place today in Olympic Hall.



You demanded, and we listened… Are you ready to shred the dance floor while supporting our Girls Basketball Team? We will be playing Atascadero High School the evening of-- Friday, December 14th. Starting after the basketball game is an after game dance. Guess what! Admission is FREE with admission to the game. The theme of the dance is “A Christmas Vacation” so dress up as a Christmas tourist to show your spirit!



Students! This is our last week before finals! If you need some extra help with one of your classes or to study in a quiet place, perhaps even set up a study group from some friends… Come to the After-School Program today and tomorrow and get some help with your grades before finals next week! It ends at 5pm everyday, dinner and transportation are provided! Hope to see you there!



Clubs / Classes



For one night and one night only! Mamma Mia is playing in Olympic Hall for one more weekend starting on Thursday and running through Sunday. And make sure to warm up your voices because we have a sing-along show tomorrow, the 13th. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:00. Tickets are $10.00, they can be purchased at the Activities Office or from a Drama Student. Ticket prices are $2.00 more when purchased at the door.



Do you want a chance to win some awesome prizes, eat pizza and hot churros? It's all part of this week's BStrongLife Christmas Party. We will meet as usual during lunch in the Forum, but it will be anything besides the norm with lots of music, fun, prizes and find out what is the "greatest gift of all this Christmas". See you all tomorrow!

Are you thinking about a career in the trades such as an electrician, plumber, pipe fitter, mason, or welder? You are in luck! There is a new pre-apprenticeship program being offered to Juniors and Seniors and there will be an information fair at Arroyo Grande High School tomorrow to learn more about it. If you are interested in attending, please get a permission slip from the Career Center today.



Library news: Are you stressing over finals? Well here is two different opportunities to get crafty and relax for a bit…

During break and lunch this week in the Library, we will be having fun holiday crafts for you to make! Supplies are free and everyone is welcome.

Also, after school… come get crafty, we will be making SNOW GLOBES, TODAY, from 3-4:30pm. Again, it is free and everyone is welcome!



Seniors



Hey Seniors, Makaylah Smith here! I’m hosting a senior challenge where we will give you a task each day for 4 days and you post a picture on your Instagram story with the #nipomosenior2019. Whoever does the task for all 4 days will get there name put into a box and on we will draw your name and we will deliver donuts to your 4th period on Monday the 17th.
The Rules:
There must be at least two seniors in every photo
Each pic you posts need to have a different senior buddy
The Challenges:
Wednesday: take a pic with a classified staff member (a staff member that is not a teacher-ex. Librarian, food service worker, custodian, admin, instructional assistant etc.)
Thursday: #TBT post a pic of your favorite high school memory with a person in your class Friday: take a picture with your favorite teacher.
