Did you know the global water crisis is one of the greatest challenges that human race has faced? In efforts to help this crisis, Nipomo High School is partnering with an organization called “Gravity Water”. This organization combines rainwater harvesting, elevated storage and gravity powered filtration, providing communities in developing countries with a localized source of safe drinking water. Titans, there is a way you can help make a difference in this world. Beginning next week, ASB will be selling drinks at lunch for a donation of $2.00 each. All profits made will be collected and donated to Gravity Water. On Monday, March 18th, La Real Michoacana is providing fresh made horchata and agua fresca (strawberry water) which will be sold during lunch for a donation of $2.00 per cup.
Don’t forget to wear your favorite post secondary education gear on Higher Ed Thursdays which is every Thursday! This includes, colleges, military, and vocational programs. Mascots are allowed as long as the name of the organization is showing as well.

Can you help us raise some dough!? Starting Thursday, March 14th, the AVID students will be pre-selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts for $12.00 per dozen. Find an AVID student to order yours today, they will be delivered on Wednesday, March 27th.
