Clubs / Classes

Project Teen Health Club meeting will meet today during lunch in Room 21. Come enjoy healthy food and talk about fun ways to stay active this school year. See you there!

The GSA--Gay-Straight Alliance--is meeting every Thursday at lunch in Room 135. Everyone is welcome! Please join us and be part of making NHS and CCNTH safe and inclusive for everyone.

Attention all National Honor Society Members! There is a meeting in Room 114 (Mr. Houchin’s Room) today at lunch. Be there for important updates and information!

Link Crew, I repeat Link Crew applications are due TODAY to Mrs. Conrad in Room 126. If you already registered for the class you still need to apply.

Upward Bound is a program that will help you apply to college, find scholarships, and figure out your future career while you are still in high school. We help students by offering workshops, field trips, and a summer program at Cal Poly. We are currently accepting applications from 9th-11th graders who meet guidelines. Applications are available on the Cal Poly Upward Bound website https://upwardbound.calpoly.edu/ or paper versions are available upon request. This week, BStronglife Club, will be having a special guest, Chris Durban. Chris is the host of the well known movie review YouTube channel "Durbania.” He'll be talking about an interesting twist on an old movie that will get you thinking, he calls this "The Death of Winter.” Check it out at BStronglife Club today at lunch in the Forum, as usual, we will have plenty of free pizza and prizes and some new T-shirt merchandise this week!

Seniors, we need to know your plans for next year. Please check your e-mail and complete the Senior Survey that was sent to you by the end of this week.

 

Cuesta College will be here on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11-2 to help with any questions that you may have about attending next year and to make sure that you will receive the Cuesta Promise. Please come to the Career Center to make an appointment to meet with the rep.

 

Community Service

 

Harloe Elementary is seeking excellent helpers for their World Fair on Friday, May 4 from 4:30pm-7:30pm. Students will help with set up/clean up, game booths, and general helpers. Please contact Harloe School at 474-3710 or email [email protected] if you want to help.
