General

Listen up, Titans! This weekend is a three day weekend, meaning there is NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY (May 27th) woohoo! Have a great weekend and see you bright and early on Tuesday!

Mental Health Awareness Month! Feeling stressed? Smile. It may not be the easiest thing to do, but smiling can help to lower your heart rate and calm you down. Smiling can also boost your overall health. The act of smiling actually helps the human immune system to function more effectively. It is thought that when you smile, immune function improves because you are more relaxed. While the brain is naturally inclined to think in negative terms as a defense mechanism, the habitual act of smiling helps the mind move to a more positive space and remain there longer the more you do it. By making smiling a part of our everyday practice, we help our brains create happiness loops that encourage more positive-thinking patterns.

FRESHMEN last chance to get your 15 pictures to our remind 101 account for your rootbeer float or pizza party. The group of freshmen with the most pictures gets two pizzas. Everyone else with 15 pics gets a rootbeer float. Come to the quad at lunch for your treat.

Have you ever tried looking up an old picture or post but found that the person had deleted it from social media? Guess what? No one can delete their comments or photos from your yearbook! Buy a yearbook today so you will have a permanent record of what you and your friends looked like when you were young!
