Seniors
Senior Portraits are due in ONE MONTH. Please read the guidelines on the NHS website under
Activities, then Yearbook. We have only received THREE senior portraits so far! If you need assistance getting your portrait done, please see Mrs. Sutherland in room 40D or one of the Yearbook staff and we will help you. We need EVERY SENIOR to turn in a portrait before October 15th.
Community Service
Are you looking for community services and want to help out the teachers at Lange Elementary? Sign up to help at the annual Lange Family Carnival! The carnival is on Thursday, September 26 from 4:30-7:30, and teachers are looking for volunteers to run booths, walk Buddy around, and to be a help to parents and students. If you are interested, please see Ms. Hawley in the Counseling Office to sign up.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is recruiting mentors! Enroll today! Spend 1 hour every Friday with a student at Nipomo Elementary. Applications can be picked up from the counseling office (Returning Bigs do not need to fill out an application). Completed applications due by Monday, September 16 and can be turned in to Mrs. O in the Career Center. Program begins October 2019 and ends May 2020. Questions? Sports
Attention all girls in playing softball this Spring, join us for our first informational meeting TODAY. This meeting will take place in Coach Paradis’ room 40C during lunch. Show up on time for a chance to win free softball swag.
Attn: Girls interested in playing basketball this season. Workouts will start today, September 10th and tomorrow, Wednesday, September 11th from 6:00pm-7:15pm in the Johnson Gym. Sports clearance packet must be turned into Athletic director prior to you coming out.
Girls who are returning and/or interested in trying out for the NHS Girls Soccer team for the 2019-2020 season are invited to a team meeting. The meeting will be held in the Forum on Thursday, September 12th, during lunch. Coach Lee will review and share information about the up-coming season, the conditioning schedule this fall, team fundraising events, try-outs, and important information about the Central Section Girls Soccer season. Please plan to attend this very important meeting on Thursday during lunch if you plan to try out for the team!
