General

 

The Childhood Cancer Awareness fundraiser at lunch last Friday had an amazing turn out. Just over $100 was raised. We also were able to collaborate with Arroyo Grande High School for a Miracle Minute at the home football game on September 20th and raised $625. All of the money will go directly to the Samuel Jeffers Foundation! 

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS!  

 

Titans, to kick off Homecoming week, this Monday get your “Disney on” by wearing your best Disney gear or wear Red & Black! Also, don’t forget the rally is on Monday!

 

Be our guest at the happiest place on earth. Homecoming dance tickets are now available in the Activities Office, prices are $5.00 with an ASB card, $10.00 without. Prices will increase next week so get yours today!

 

Do you want to go to the happiest place on earth with a special someone who does not attend NHS? You will need to get them a guest pass, guest passes are now available in the Activities Office. They should be completed and turned in by TODAY to Mrs. Lattimer in the Admin Office.

 

To vote for homecoming court check your student email for the google doc. You have until 3:00 pm TODAY!

Attention students, if you are interested in taking college classes and being a part of the Associates Club, please join us in the Career Center during lunch on Thursday, October 10th for a general interest meeting.

 

Attention SAT and PSAT registrants, your Student Guide is ready for pickup in the Counseling Office. Your Student Guide has Important Information about test taking, advice & tips & practice questions. Please see Mrs. Nunez in the counseling office to pick up your guide.

Attention Students! Nipomo Recreation is hosting a family oriented special event on Saturday, October 12th from 9 am to 5 pm in the Nipomo Community park. We are looking for volunteers to help throughout the day in various ways. Help yourself fulfill your volunteer requirements for high school graduation. Come see Jeff Long at the recreation office located in the NHS gym lobby.

 

The Central Coast Airfest needs volunteers! The Airfest Show is coming up October 12th and 13th. They need 20 volunteers especially for the gates and admission areas. Clubs can get money for sending 20 people to volunteer. For more information, contact Mrs. O in the Career Center.
