The Associates Club meetings are now on Fridays in the career center. If you’re interested in college courses as a high school student, please grab your lunch & join us Friday’s in the career center.

 

Nipomo High Theatre Co will present Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” today, tomorrow & in Olympic Hall. Doors open at 6:30, showtime is 7:00pm. Purchase tickets from any drama student, in the Activities Office, or see Mrs. Metchik. Advance purchased ticket prices are $5 for staff/$8 for students/$10 for adults ($2 more at the door).  Will you be able to guess who dies and who is the killer in this murder mystery?  Come see this show . . . it kills this Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, 7:00 pm in Olympic Hall.  

 

All students who are interested in Mrs. Long’s senior cohort group, we will meet Tuesday, October 22nd for pizza at lunch.

Community Service

 

Oasis, a nonprofit for senior citizens, is having a Big Band Barn Bash Fundraiser from 1:00-4:00pm on Sunday, October 20 at Nipomo Creek Farm in Nipomo. They have two shifts that need staffing: 11:00am - 2:00pm for set-up and parking, and 3:30-5:30pm for clean-up and breakdown. Interested? Arroyo Grande Recreation Department is offering a Senior Tech Clinic on Saturday, October 26, 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers in Arroyo Grande. Students will help senior citizens one-on-one using smartphones, iPhones, social media, etc. To sign up or for more information, contact Kelly Reynolds, [email protected], or call 805-473-5473.  

 

If you are looking for some easy community service hours, we have some just for you.  The Willow Road Pumpkin Patch organizers need dozens of volunteers for this Saturday and Sunday, October 19th and October 20th from 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Lunch and dinner will be provided, if you are interested please see Mrs. Susank in Rm 30A at break or lunch to sign up.

All ladies interested in playing softball this upcoming spring season, our off-season practice begins TODAY at 3:10pm. All athletes must be cleared through our Athletics department (completed and submitted Physical and Family ID registration) to participate. Any questions see Coach Paradis.
