Trick or treat! All October Birthday come out to the quad at lunch today to get a spooky surprise!


Let’s get spooky, Titans! Tomorrow, you may dress up in your coolest school appropriate Halloween costume. No mask, face painting, no real of fake weapons and dress code must be followed. Hope to see all of your creative costumes. 


Do you like cake but don't like to bake? Halloween is tomorrow so dress up in your school appropriate costumes and participate in our Annual Cake Walk tomorrow at lunch. You must dress up in a costume in order to participate.


Did you miss out on signing up for the Halloween Blood Drive but are still interested in donating blood? Well you’re in luck. We are having another day of sign-ups today on the quad at lunch. Remember that you must be at least 16 years old to sign up and donate. Also, if you have already signed up, please remember to bring your permission signed permission slip tomorrow and show up at the time you signed up for. 


Please upload photos to the Jostens ReplayIt app for sports and activities! The yearbook needs your photos. Just select Nipomo High School and choose the photos you would like the yearbook staff to consider for the yearbook.


Attention all Titans, the Bolt Booth will be open today during lunch. Turn in your Titan Bolts for some deserved rewards at the outside window next to the Activities Office.


Last Friday, during our Miracle Minute at lunch and at the home football game, we raised a total of $385.86. This money will go directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Thank you so much to everyone who donated and/or wore pink to raise awareness. 


Clubs / Classes


Do you want to wear a gold cord or sash at graduation? Do you have mostly A's and a few B's? CSF Applications are now available for Juniors and Seniors in Room 138, see Mrs. Bellew with any questions. Applications are due next Friday, November 8th.


The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be having their weekly meeting today during lunch in Room 117. You do not need to be Christian or an athlete to attend. All are welcome! Stop by, bring a friend and learn about our club and our faith. 


Friday Night Live club is having their meeting today at lunch in Room 126. Grab a friend and come check it out to meet new people, learn leadership skills, and plan fun activities and campaigns for the whole campus!

Career Center update: Reminder: if you want to be considered for Elks Teen of the Month, submit your completed application by Friday, November 1st to Mrs. O in the Career Center.

Senior quotes are due BEFORE THANKSGIVING BREAK. To submit your quote, fill out the Google Form that was emailed to your school email from Mrs. Carter. Please check your SPAM folder if you don't think you received it.


Seniors! Do you want to go to Universal Studios on May 29th? Well stop by the Activity Office to purchase your grad night tickets now! Tickets are $85 and will go up $10 next semester. Hurry and get yours while they are on sale!

Sports


Boys Basketball Tryout Information. Varsity, JV and Freshmen tryouts are today, 10/30, 6:45pm-9:00pm in the NHS Gym. If you want to tryout for NHS Boys Basketball you must attend the respective tryout dates and times. Athletes still in Fall sports just come by to say hello during those times. Your tryout will take place after Fall sports end. Hope to see you there. -Coach Ikeda


All boys interested in trying out for soccer this year. Tryouts have begun on the back fields. Your Family ID and Physical must be completed and turned in in order to try out. If you are currently in a Fall sport and intend to try out, please stop by at the beginning of tryouts today to let the coaches know of your intentions and interests in playing, and then proceed to your Fall sports' practice.


Boys wrestling season has begun, inside the Boys Wrestling room from 3:30-5:30pm. Make sure your physical and family ID is up to date before coming to practice.


Attention Girls interested in playing basketball this season, this is a reminder that tonight is day 2 of Try-Outs, Wednesday, October 30th from 5:30-6:45pm in the gym.


All individuals interested in the 2019-2020 Nipomo HS Girls’ Soccer team are invited to participate in formal tryouts that will be held on Friday, November 1st and Friday, November 8th. Girls enrolled at Nipomo High School and Central Coast New Tech High School are invited to the tryouts from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, that will be held on the fields near the tennis courts. To tryout for the team, players must have submitted all clearances and will need to bring water, cleats, shin guards, and dressed appropriately for the tryouts.
