General

 

Don’t forget to stop by the After-School Program in the library. You can get some help on your assignments or perhaps just have a quiet place to do your work. Monday through Thursday from 3:00 - 5:00pm. Dinner and bus transportation are available! 

 

Clubs / Classes

 

Want to help others? Get involved in the community? Gain leadership skills? Come to the Interact Club meeting THIS Wednesday, Nov. 6th, at lunch in the Career Center. We do fun projects and community service activities. See you Wednesday!

 

Do you want to wear a gold cord or sash at graduation? Do you have mostly A's and a few B's? CSF Applications are now available for Juniors and Seniors in Room 138, see Mrs. Bellew with any questions. Applications are due this Friday, November 8th.

 

Attention all AP students, regular AP exam registration closes on November 8th! Register now! See Mrs. Susank in room 30A if you need help registering.

 

The FIDM Fashion Club is meeting on November 7th at lunch in the Career Center.  We will be customizing chain belts! Make sure to sign up in the Career Center by Wednesday, Nov. 6th to attend the meeting.

Seniors

 

Seniors: are you interested in traveling the world? Verto Education is a "gap year" program that lets you earn college credit while studying abroad after graduation. If you want to travel and get college credit for it, come to the Career Center TOMORROW, Tuesday, Nov. 5th during 3rd period. Sign up today and let Mrs. O know you're coming. Community Service

 

Hey Juniors & Seniors! Stop by the student store to sign up for the opportunity to earn community service hours. Do not wait until the end of the year to complete these hours! All it takes is one hour a week to gain work experience, service hours and $3.00 worth of snacks!

 

Sports

 

All individuals interested in the 2019-2020 Nipomo HS Girls’ Soccer team are invited to participate in-formal tryouts will be held Friday, November 8th. To tryout for the team, players must have submitted all clearances and will need to bring water, cleats, shin guards, and dressed appropriately for the tryouts.

 

Anybody that is interested in playing baseball this year and is not playing a fall or winter sport, please report to the weight room today 3:15pm.
