General

What's your sign? Capricorn, Aquarius? If so, come join us on the quad tomorrow to celebrate January Birthdays!

The 2020 NHS Poetry Out Loud winner is Toireasa-Marie O'Rourke. She will be competing at the SLO County Competition on Friday, Feb 7th. Check Mr. Shields's door for more info.

Are you planning on going to our 2020 Great Gatsby Winter Formal on February 1st? If you are, tickets are on sale at the activities office. $30 for  students with an ASB card and $40 for students without. The last day to purchase tickets is January 30th and  tickets will NOT be sold at the door. Be sure to buy your ticket as soon as possible.

Titans, do you remember your childhood?  Weren’t those the good old days? Next week is our Winter Spirit Week where you will be able to relive childhood with “Childhood Rewind, Back to the Good Old Days!”  There will be dress up days, lunchtime activities and a rally at the end of the week, all designed to take you back to childhood.

Who knows their TV theme show songs??  If you think you do, come out to the quad TODAY at lunch and test your knowledge.  The winner gets a pizza!

"Attention! Wednesday's dress up day is to recreate a childhood picture. Wear the outfit and you can recreate it at lunch on the quad. Or wear polka dots. Let's recap the memories, Nipomo!"

Remember when it was all fun and games and snacks? Well, you don't have to remember any longer. Tomorrow in the quad there will be games and snacks from our childhood. We would love to see you there.

" What was everyone's favorite part of elementary school?.... Recess, of course! Thursday,  wear athletic clothes or a hat,  beanie or headband. Let's get this workout on!"

"What does Team umizoomi, Victorious, Annoying Orange, and Hannah Montana all have in common? They're all TV shows of our childhood! Friday, wear your class colors that represent the channels of your childhood. Freshman are Nick jr. so they wear orange, Sophomores are Cartoon Network so they wear white, Juniors are Nickelodeon so they wear green and Seniors are Disney channel so they wear blue. Get ready to show your class spirit!

Congrats to all "Students" that are new drivers. Now that you don't have to "BUM" from a friend, make sure to get your Parking Permit in the Activities Office. You have until Jan. 31st.

Attention Juniors, are you interested in taking the SAT during the school day?  Do you have weekend obligations or transportation issues that would keep you from being able to participate in a regular Saturday SAT administration? NHS has a great opportunity to help you to get ready for college: the SAT School Day, Wednesday, March 25th.  Please check your student email to register and for payment instructions.  Please see Mrs. M&M in the counseling office with any questions. Payment and registration MUST be completed no later than Friday, February 14th."
