Please join Nipomo High School Friday Night Live March 9th-13th at the Awareness Gallery in Olympic Hall, open every day at break and lunch. The gallery is an interactive display that addresses issues faced by a typical high school student today such as stress, mental health, and substance use. Hope to see you there!

Clubs / Classes

Attention Students, The free Cuesta College Class: College Success Studies (CSS 225) Starts on Monday, March 9th at 3:30 in room 145.  Please put your best foot forward, be on time & be responsible as those taking this class are now college students!

Many students visited the Cal Poly Cyber Institute on a field trip recently.  If you’re interested in going back to complete, come to Mr. Storm’s room, 146 at lunch on Tuesday, March 10th to find out more.  No experience required...we will train you!

Attention all those interested in board games and card games. The Magic the Gathering Club is meeting in Mr. Deichler's room 134 to nerd out and play some games. See you there.

Cal Poly ETS is a program to help students be successful in high school and beyond. In addition to counseling, students in ETS learn about college admission requirements, scholarships, and more. ETS will have a table in the quad at lunch TODAY!  Come learn all about this FREE program opportunity.

Seniors

If you are planning to attend CUESTA or HANCOCK next year, you need to make sure you are signed up and ready for the upcoming Orientation days. Help is available! We will have a REGISTRATION DAY in the Career Center on Tuesday, March 17! Sign up in advance for a timeslot so we know to expect you! See Mrs. O in the Career Center to sign up today.

Community Service
Are you still looking to fulfill your community service requirements for graduation or are you just looking to get it done before your senior year.  If any of these are true, Nipomo Recreation can help. We are having their annual Kids Day at the Nipomo Community Park on Saturday March 28 from 10-3 pm.  We need help with our Easter Egg Hunt, Parking, Bounce House attendants and many other jobs. Please come to our office in the GYM lobby and sign up as soon as possible.

Still thinking about Track and Field?  If you are somebody that wants to work on jumping higher, running faster, or just getting into better shape then you should be!   This message is an FYI that this week is the final week to come out for Track and Field. The more, the merrier ...... we hope to see you out at the stadium after school.
