Sadie Hawkins dance tickets are now on sale. They will be $5 with ASB sticker, $7 without ASB sticker. Prices will go up the following week, so get yours early!

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s next Friday’s Superheroes VS Villains Rally! Juniors and seniors are Nipomo’s Superheroes fighting crime against the sophomore and freshman villains! Be on the look-out for your class colors.

Clubs and Classes
Attention all upper classmen who bought Junior-Senior Night Movie tickets; the dinner has been cancelled due to low ticket sales. Please see Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities Office for your refund.

Attention Link Crew leaders! We will be having a club meeting Monday at lunch in Mr. Shorba’s room, 40D. See you there!

Check it out! Red Cross is selling “Sadie’s Suckers”. You can buy a lollipop with a handwritten note from you or just a lollipop to enjoy for yourself for $1. They will be sold on Friday, Monday and Tuesday and will be delivered on Wednesday the 20th.

Hey Anime fans! The Anime Club is meeting today after school, in the library. We’d love to see you there!

Community Service Opportunities

Are you interested in getting some last minute community service hours? Do you enjoy being healthy and active? Do you want to learn more about Allan Hancock College? If so, then you need to participate in the Allan Hancock College Splash and Dash on Saturday, April 27th! You can participate in either an Aquathon consisting of a 5K run and 500yd swim, a 2 mile run, a 5K run, or a 500yd swim. Seniors / Scholarships
Senior Grad Night tickets to on sale Monday! Tickets are $70, but prices will go up after Spring break. Pay in full before then to get the discount. Grand Night is June 12th.

Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in a career in Medicine? Then see your counselor for an application for the Physician Mentoring Program at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and Marian regional Medical Center. The summer program runs from June 24th through August 9th, 2013.
Applications will be accepted starting April 1st, 2013, and are processed in the order they are received.
Last year there were participating physicians in anesthesiology, Dental, ER, Family Practice, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Orthodontics, and surgery, just to name a few! See your counselor for an application, STAT!

The deadline for the Cal-SOAP scholarship is today! You can mail, fax or deliver your application in person to the Cal-SOAP office at Allan Hancock College. If you are mailing, your application must be postmarked with today’s date (this means go to the Post Office today to have it date-stamped with today’s date). If you are delivering it in person or faxing it, then you must get it there BEFORE 3pm today!

Seniors, if you are attending Community College next year and you have not completed your financial aid application, you still have time to apply! Mrs. Machado with the Cal-SOAP program can help you with your FAFSA. Sign up for an appointment in the counseling office.
