The Library is closed for AP testing until Friday, May 17th. A book drop will be placed outside for text and library book returns. Ms. Stoneman will be outside at break and lunch to collect fines and books. Please do not disturb test-takers.

TITANS, it's time to stand up and cheer for Cheer Tryouts. Have you been looking for an activity to get involved in? Do you like to dance, cheer or want to learn? Cheer tryouts for the 2013-2014 season begin on May 20th. No prior experience needed to tryout, just a desire to lead your school and get involved. All skills needed will be taught during the 3 day clinic beginning May 20-23. Packets with detailed information may be picked at the activities office. This Wednesday, May 15th, is ASB’s final Student Senate meeting! Second period representatives check in with your teachers and report to the Forum. This meeting is very important for receiving end of the year information.

Nipomo High School Dance Company presents their annual show, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” at the Clark Center in Arroyo Grande on May 17th and 18th at 7pm. Tickets are available in the Activities Office for $12.
Anyone interested in trying out for Dance Company, please pick up a packet in Belo’s room, 103, and sign up for a tryout day! Tryouts are either May 28th or 29th at 3pm.
Attention all AP World History candidates – there is a mandatory meeting in Mr. Houchin’s classroom, room 114, at lunch on Thursday for anyone scheduled to take AP World History during the 2013-2014 school year. You will be given a description of the course as well as the summer assignment. Be prompt!
Hey Renaissance students! It’s that time – what time? Pool Party Time! Come to the pool this Friday to soak in the sun, grub on some delicious BBQ and swim like a fish! Party starts at lunch and goes through sixth period. See you there!
This Wednesday, Renaissance presents; Who’s Smarter, the students or the teachers? Come out and support your student body in an academic trivia game on the quad at lunch.
The Mesa Destination Imagination Team will be having a fundraiser at Me and Ed’s Pizza tonight, May 14th from 6-8pm. Please come out and support the team as they are raising money to go to globals in Tennessee!
Seniors / Scholarships
Attention Seniors, if you are interested in trying out for the National Anthem during graduation, Senior Showcase, or Speaker at Large, please see Mr. McConnell in room #113 as soon as possible to put your name on the list and get the details! You must sign up to tryout! Tryouts days will be:
•National Anthem in room 113 on Thursday, May 16th after school
•Senior Showcase talent in the Forum from 3-5pm on Wednesday, May 15th
•Graduation speaker at a large on Thursday, May 22nd, at 3pm in room 113.
Space is limited, so sign up as soon as possible!

Coach Rucker will be out by the Student Store at lunch today to collect track uniforms.
Track and Field Sprinters - Turn in "Speed Suits" to Coach Edwards on Wednesday at BREAK in front of the pool.
SPRING FOOTBALL STARTS NEXT WEEK. Open for anybody that is interested in playing JV or Varsity football next year. See Coach Edwards this week if you have questions.
All pole vaulters: you need to come to the pit today after school to flip the pads. With everyone there, it'll take 20minutes at the most!
Sports Clearance Packets are on sale now in the Activities Office. All potential student-athletes for this summer and next school year will need to have a current Clearance Card and physical on file. NHS Health Screenings are scheduled for Thursday, May 16, from 6-8pm. Total cost of the packet if you are attending the Health Screenings is $75.00, which includes your ASB sticker for next school year.
Are you interested in running Cross Country next year? Come to an informational meeting today at lunch in Room 133. For returning runners, this is a mandatory meeting.
