In honor of Labor Day, there will be no school on Monday, September 2nd!

The Student Store is now open every day after school from 2:45 – 4:00. IF you would like to work at the store and earn community service hours, please sign up with Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities Office.

P.E. clothes are available for purchase in the Activities Office. Shorts and shirts are $15 a piece.

Parking Permits are on sale in the Activities Office for $15.00. All cars parked on campus must have a parking permit. Please note that Student Parking is located in the area in front of the gym.

Purchase your ASB Card in the Activities Office for $40.00. Being an ASB cardholder identifies you as a supporting member of Nipomo High School Associated Student Body. You’ll get discounts throughout the year on dances, sporting events and more. Get one and start saving today!

September 4th is Back to School Night! More information to come!

Western Oregon University is rated one of the best Liberal Arts colleges in the Unites States. Class sizes are small, and students do not have to pay out of state tuition. Some of the notable majors are Business, Biology, Teacher Education and Psychology. A representative from Western Oregon will be here on Wednesday, Sept. 4th during 2nd period in the library. A sign up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.


Clubs and Classes

Attention all sophomores, juniors and seniors with a 3.0 or higher GPA from last semester – apply for Renaissance now! Don’t worry if you do not have that 3.0 GPA – if you improved by .5 percent from one semester to the next, you are also qualified! All applications are due by September 13th to the Guidance Counseling office.

Hey Anime lovers! If you're interested in joining the Anime Club, please come to the Library, after school today!

Community Service Opportunities

Sign up in the Activities Office if you would like to work in the Student Store to earn community service hours.

Sports
Today: FIRST Football game of the year vs. PV! Friday’s action starts with JV at 4:00 and Varsity at 7:00. Come out and cheer your Titan football team to their first victory!

Saturday: Alumni Volleyball Game, “Dig for Delaney”, 5:00 in the Titan Gym. Tickets are available in the office for $5 and at the pass gate at the Varsity football game. See Mrs. Carter to purchase your tickets in advance.

Girl’s Tennis tryouts will be after school through today.

All prospective Baseball players – there will be a meeting on Wednesday, September 4th at lunch in room 40C. Please plan to be there.
