Students! It's not too late to sign up for the Cuesta College Class "Introduction to Workplace Readiness." The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Forum from 3:00 - 5:00. Students receive 3 college credits for the class and TEN high school credits! Show up to the class if you are interested.
All students interested in attending college! Don't miss out on the Cuesta College Fair on November 4th from 5:30 -8:30. Representatives from California State Universities, University of California, Private Universities, and out-of state universities will be on hand to provide information. Information will also be available about financial aid and scholarships! Wait! There's more! Nipomo High will be providing bus transportation to and from the college fair! Sign up for a spot on the bus in the counseling office. The bus will be leaving NHS ay 5:30 and returning at 8:00. There is still room on the bus, so pick up a fieldtrip permission slip in the office. Lots of colleges will be there! Don't miss out!
A representative from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) will be here on Thursday, 10/31 during 3rd period in the Forum. Come find out about careers in fashion, interior design, digital arts and entertainment industries. A sign-up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.
Attention Students: Jostens will be on campus to deliver class rings on Tuesday, October 29th at lunch on the Quad. Please bring your balance due. If you have not ordered your class ring, you have one more chance! Rings may also be ordered at that time with an $80.00 deposit. Extra packets are on the Activities Office counter.

It’s that time of the year…Our annual canned food drive will begin on November 6th and run through November 19th. It is a 2nd period class competition. Last year we brought in 3,243 cans…let’s break that record! Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
FIDM club will meet today in room 40A at lunch. Anyone interested in fashion or design, please attend!
GSA will be meeting today at lunch in Ms. Kandel’s room 135. Everyone is welcome.
Roll on into the Rolling Thunder Meeting today at lunch in the Forum. Rolling Thunder is the spirit club of NHS. Rolling Thunder shirts are here and can be purchased for $5 at the meeting and on the quad on Wednesday, October 30th.
