The latest “Do You Know What You Owe?” list has been posted in the Activities Office. Please check it to see if you owe any debts to ASB. Remember, all debts must be paid to attend Winter Formal, Prom or to walk at graduation.
All students interested in attending college! Don't miss out on the Cuesta College Fair on November 4th from 5:30 -8:30. The bus will be leaving NHS ay 5:30 and returning at 8:00. There is still room on the bus, so pick up a fieldtrip permission slip in the office.
Clubs and Classes
Juniors and Seniors - A representative from UCSB will be here on Monday, November 4th, during 5th period in the Forum to provide information on academic programs, internships, and the application process. A sign-up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.
It’s that time of the year…Our annual canned food drive will begin on November 6th and run through November 19th. It is a 2nd period class competition. Last year we brought in 3,243 cans…let’s break that record! Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Seniors
A representative from Westmont College will be here on Tuesday, November 5th, during 2nd period in the library
computer lab. A sign-up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.
Sports
Tryouts for the NHS Girls’ Soccer Team for the 2013 -2014 season are being scheduled for November 12th though November 14th. Any girls interested in trying out for this year’s team must have their clearance packet completed and submitted to Coach Lee prior to Tuesday, November 12th.
For anyone interested in playing boys soccer this year, there are mandatory tryouts next week, starting with two practices on Monday, November 11th from 10am-noon and from 5pm-7pm on the south side of the stadium. Please contact coach Vinnedge if you have any questions.
