Tryouts for the NHS Girls’ Soccer Team for the 2013 -2014 season are set for next week. Tryout dates are Tuesday, November 12th – Thursday, November 14th. Player clearance packets must have been completed and submitted to Coach Lee prior to the first day of tryouts – no exceptions. Tryouts begin promptly at 3:15 pm at the soccer practice fields. Be sure to bring running shoes, cleats and shin guards for the tryouts and for those Fall sport athletes participating in the postseason (CIF) competition, Coach Lee would like you to check in with the coaching staff next Tuesday at 3:00 pm at the soccer field to coordinate a secondary tryout.
All girls interested in playing basketball - Try-Outs begin Tuesday, Nov. 12th and Wednesday, Nov. 13th from 5-7pm in the gym.
Boys Basketball tryouts Nov 11th $ 12th (Mon, Tues)
Varsity - 10am to 12pm NHS GYM
JV - 7pm to 9pm NHS GYM
Frosh - 5pm to 7pm Mesa Gym
Are you planning on trying out for the wrestling team? Weight class certification testing is after school today. Yes it's an early out. You will need a permission slip and data sheet in order to do the testing. See Mr. Gross for this paperwork if you plan on wrestling this season.
For anyone interested in playing boys soccer this year, there are mandatory tryouts next week, starting with two practices, on Monday, November 11th from 10am-noon and from 5-7pm on the south side of the stadium. Please contact coach Vinnedge if you have any questions.
