Attention students! Class Rings are coming!! Jostens will be on campus to deliver class rings on Thursday, November 14th and Friday, November 15th at lunch on the quad. Please bring your balance due. If you have not ordered your class ring, you have one more chance!! Rings may also be ordered at that time with an $80.00 deposit. Extra packets are available on the counter in the Activities Office.
Please feel free to stop by the library and check out that book you have always wanted to read. Every time you check out a book, you will be entered into a weekly raffle for a free Me & Ed’s personal pizza!
Hey students! Anybody have a missing cell phone? How about a nice pair of glasses or cool sunglasses? There are loads of cell phones and other items waiting to be claimed in Lost & Found in the Administration Building. See Mrs. Mendez, describe your missing merchandise and you could be a winner and get your lost items back!
Food drive continues until November 19th! Bring those winning cans in for a chance to win prizes!
Clubs and Classes
ETS meets today in the library computer lab at lunch.
FCA meets today in the gym. Lunch is provided and everyone is welcome.
Swim Club will meet this Thursday at lunch by the pool. Be sure to bring your stuff and be ready to swim!
Juniors and Seniors - If you want to learn valuable job skills, while getting the training and experience you'll need to get ahead, then consider the U.S. Army. A representative from the U.S. Army will be here on Thursday, 11/14, during 5th period in the library computer lab. A sign up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.
Seniors
Orders for your cap, gown and graduation items will be due shortly! Jostens will be on the quad at lunch for orders tomorrow, Thursday, November 14th for all senior girls and Friday, November 15th for all senior guys. Don’t forget your $65.00 deposit and your order form. Extra packets are on the Activities Office counter.
Sports
Attention all ladies interested in playing softball this spring there is a mandatory meeting on Thursday at the beginning of lunch in room 40C.
Tryouts for the NHS Girls’ Soccer Team for the 2013 -2014 season are set for this week. Tryouts run through Thursday, November 14th. Tryouts begin promptly at 3:15 pm at the soccer practice fields. Be sure to bring running shoes, cleats and shin guards for the tryouts and for those Fall sport athletes participating in the postseason (CIF) competition, Coach Lee would like you to check in with the coaching staff next Tuesday at 3:00 pm at the soccer field to coordinate a secondary tryout.
Reminder: All girls interested in playing basketball~ Mandatory try-outs are today, Wednesday, Nov. 13th from 5-7pm in the gym.
Girls interested in wrestling this season, meet at the track today at 3:15 ready to work out.
