The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is now accepting applications from Sophmores, Juniors and Seniors who earned high grades on last semester’s report card. You are eligible to apply and become a member of this prestigious group of California students if you earned mostly A’s and B’s on last December’s report card. Bring a copy of your report card (or current transcript) to room 107 and fill out an application to see if you qualify. If you do qualify, there is a $5 membership fee. Don’t miss this opportunity to join … the deadline to apply is Friday, February 21st.

According to the World Food Organization, 2.6 million people die annually due to hunger related issues. To bring awareness to global food insecurity, we need your help. During National FFA Week (Feb.18-22) we will be collecting spare change in teacher’s jars to purchase a heifer, goat, chicken and/or pig through Heifer International. The winning teacher (most $$) will be honored by having the opportunity to kiss a pig at lunch on Friday of FFA week.

Seniors! Bring a “now and then” picture (a baby picture and a current picture) for yearbook’s “Now and Then” page! Pictures can be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off in Mrs. Hatfield’s box by February 21st.
Community Service
Nipomo Food Bank needs volunteers for distribution. If you are interested in volunteering, please call Janice at 431-0501 or email at [email protected]. Food Bank distribution dates are very 2nd Tuesday of each month from 3:30 – 6pm or until food is gone.
