The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is now accepting applications from Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors who earned high grades on last semester’s report card. You are eligible to apply and become a member of this prestigious group of California students if you earned mostly A’s and B’s on last December’s report card. Bring a copy of your report card (or current transcript) to room 107 and fill out an application to see if you qualify. If you do qualify, there is a $5 membership fee. Don’t miss this opportunity to join … the deadline to apply is this Friday, February 21st.

NHS Drama auditions again! That's right, another chance to hit the stage with our Titan Players. This time, it's our spring musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. This hilarious show about some quirky adolescents tackling a spelling bee will close out our theatre season in style. Full of bizarre characters, dynamite songs and true comedy gold, it performs May 8 - 17 in Olympic Hall. Auditions are Monday, February 17 3:30 - 6:30 in room 110 and Wednesday, May 19 from 5:30 - 7:30. Sign-ups are outside room 110.
There is a GSA meeting today at lunch in room 135. Everyone is welcome to attend.

According to the World Food Organization, 2.6 million people die annually due to hunger related issues. To bring awareness to global food insecurity, we need your help. During National FFA Week (Feb.18-22) we will be collecting spare change in teacher’s jars to purchase a heifer, goat, chicken and/or pig through Heifer International. The winning teacher (most $$) will be honored by having the opportunity to kiss a pig at lunch on this Friday!

Track and Field officially begins today! Come out to the track after school and be a part of the largest team on campus! Not fast? Come get faster! Don’t jump very well? Come improve and jump higher! Not sure what you would do? We will help you figure it out and place you in an event that is right for you! Track and Field is for EVERYONE! No experience required, no cuts, the more the merrier! All we ask for is for people to bring a great attitude and a determination to get better! Come join our CHAMPIONSHIP program!
