General

Lincoln College of Technology, based in Denver, Colorado, offers programs in Automotive Technology, Welding, and Heating and Air Conditioning. A representative from Lincoln will be on the quad during lunch Tuesday, March 4th. Stop by and get information on scholarships and programs offered.

Clubs and Classes

Film Club is meeting every Tuesday at lunch in room 40B. New members are always welcome!

There is a GSA meeting every Tuesday in room 135.

This is your last week to sign up for FNL’s Mock Rock and Talent Blast. Whether you can lip sync like Lady Gaga or dance better than Beyonce, we want you to sign up! All acts are welcome! If you have any skills you want to show your school, sign up on Mr. Deicher’s door in room 134 by THIS Thursday!

The Allan Hancock College STEM Center, located on the Santa Maria Campus, is hosting a STEM Open House Night of Discovery. It is for Juniors and Seniors who are planning to attend a community college and then transfer on to a university. It will be held on Wednesday April 16 from 5:30-8:00 PM in the Student Center, Room G-106B. Students and parents are welcome. There will be Financial Aid information, Transfer Pathways, Academic Advisors, Faculty, Student Panels and more. Students will get the chance to ask questions along with parents. A facility tour will be given and attendees will get to learn more about the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics Program. To reserve a spot you can contact the STEM Center at 922-6966 ext. 3557.Reserve a spot no later than April 9.


Seniors

Due to unexpected complications with our original senior panoramic photographer, yearbook will need to retake the senior panoramic on March 5th at the beginning of lunch. Please go directly to the football stadium at the end of 4th period.

Attention Seniors! Are you interested in attending Allan Hancock College this fall? A counselor from Hancock will be on the quad at lunch on Wednesday, 3/5, and will be giving a presentation during 5th period in the Forum. Come hear about upcoming dates, registration information, and all of the programs Hancock has to offer. A sign-up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.
