General

It’s Frito Boat Friday at the Student Store! Come get yours for only $2!

Saw Midsummer and loved it? Missed it and still want your dose of Shakespeare? Love song and dance? Come out and see “The Best of the Bard: Shakespeare Unchained” this weekend only! It's full of Shakespeare-inspired scenes, songs and dances, and is guaranteed to send you home singing. Friday to Saturday at 7:30 and a matinee on Saturday at 2 pm. Tickets are $10 for students/senior and $12 for adults, $2 more at the door.

Upward Bound is now accepting applications! If you want to participate in a FREE Summer Program, live on Cal Poly's campus, earn extra credit towards graduation, have fun and make new friends, pick up an application today! Hurry - spots are limited! Applications are available in the activities office with Mrs. Teixeira.

Anyone interested in singing the National Anthem at the Spring Sports Rally on April 4th, please come to the ASB room on TODAY at lunch for tryouts!

If you would be interested in being an emcee at this year’s Spring Sports Rally, please come to the ASB room at lunch today for tryouts!

Pennies for Patients is still going on! Please donate any money or spare change you can. It is for a good cause. The 2nd period class bringing in the most money will win a lunch, complete with beverages!

Attention Sophomores and Juniors – if you would like to be in the Link Crew for the 2014-15 school year, be sure to apply. Applications will be in Mr. Shorba’s room , 40D, and in the Activities Office. Current leaders MUST reapply if they would like to be in Link Crew next year. Applications must be given to Mr. Shorba no later than Friday, April 4th. Don’t wait until the last minute!

Clubs and Classes

Attention all students in the Teen Health Empowerment Study and Cuidate program, it is time to take your survey! Please come to room 132 during lunch and after school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. You will also receive your $25 Visa card!

Student Senate meeting is today. If you are the second period representative, come to the Forum at 8:45am.

Attention Renaissance students~! Want to have a say about our Spring Pool Party Theme? Then get onto the school website, nhstitans.org, and cast your vote! Voting ends Friday, April 4th.

Seniors

Attention Seniors! There are a TON of scholarships available in the Counseling Office - check the scholarship file cabinet often! Currently, applications are available for the Nipomo Women's Club Scholarship in the amount of $750.00. Pick up your application today because the deadline is Monday, March 31st.

Community Service

The Nipomo Food Bank distribution will be on Tuesday, April 8th at Nipomo Elementary School. If you are interested in volunteering to distribute food from 3:30 to 6pm, please call Janice at 431-0601.

Sports

Tennis ladies, please note your calendars that the tennis potluck banquet will be held on Friday, April 11th instead of April 9, at 6:30 pm. Mrs. Stackhouse needs each of you to call or text her with how many people from your family will be attending. If you have not done so already, please pick up your invitations from Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities Office.
