General

Last 2 days to order Krispy Kreme donuts from an AVID student. Donuts will be delivered this Thursday, April 3, so don't miss placing your orders if you want a dozen yummy donuts for only $10.

Upward Bound is now accepting applications! If you want to participate in a FREE Summer Program, live on Cal Poly's campus, earn extra credit towards graduation, have fun and make new friends, pick up an application today! Hurry - spots are limited! Applications are available in the activities office with Mrs. Teixeira.

Anyone interested in singing the National Anthem at the Spring Sports Rally on April 4th, please come to the ASB room on TODAY at lunch for tryouts!

Don’t forget Pennies for Patients is still going on! Last year we raised $500. Let’s beat last year’s score! Remember, the 2nd period class that collects the most money will win a lunch with beverages! Let’s help those in need.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors – if you would like to be in the Link Crew for the 2014-15 school year, be sure to apply. Applications will be in Mr. Shorba’s room , 40D, and in the Activities Office. Current leaders MUST reapply if they would like to be in Link Crew next year. Applications must be given to Mr. Shorba no later than Friday, April 4th. Don’t wait until the last minute!

Clubs and Classes

GSA meets today in room 135 at lunch.

Film Club meets today in room 40B at lunch. New members are always welcome!

FIDM club meets today in Ms. Toschack’s room, 40A, at lunch if you are interested in fashion or any type of design.

24 Hour Relay for Life is coming up on April 4th and 5th here on the NHS Track. Join the Nipomo Kiwanis Club team by signing up with a Key Club member. Join in to help raise money to fight Cancer.

Hey Key Clubbers! Bunco Night is a fundraiser for scholarships for seniors. Come help out on Friday April 4, at 5:30 in Olympic Hall.

Attention all students in the Teen Health Empowerment Study and Cuidate program, it is time to take your survey! Please come to room 132 during lunch and after school today and tomorrow. You will also receive your $25 Visa card!

Attention Renaissance students~! Want to have a say about our Spring Pool Party Theme? Then get onto the school website, nhstitans.org, and cast your vote! Voting ends Friday, April 4th.

Seniors

Community Service

The Nipomo Food Bank distribution will be on Tuesday, April 8th at Nipomo Elementary School. If you are interested in volunteering to distribute food from 3:30 to 6pm, please call Janice at 431-0601.

Sports

Friday there will be a Spring Sports Rally, 11:42-12:25, in Gym


There will be a meeting for those of you who are interested in Summer Water Polo at lunch by the pool today and Wednesday.


Tennis ladies, please note on your calendars that the tennis potluck banquet will be held on Friday, April 11th instead of April 9, at 6:30 pm. Mrs. Stackhouse needs each of you to call or text her with how many people from your family will be attending. If you have not done so already, please pick up your invitations from Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities Office.
