General

Please note: The Activities Office will be closing at 2:30 today.

24 hour relay is now 10 hours! On Sat 10am-10pm, April 5 only, due to the wet field here at NHS. See Mrs. Brooks if you have questions.

The Lights of Atlantis Dance in tomorrow! Buy your tickets today for $7 w/ASB card and $10 w/out. Be sure to get them now or they will be $15 for everyone at the door.

All students, it's Special Olympics time! If you would like to be a "Best Buddy" for one of our Special Athletes on Friday, May 2nd at Cuesta College, please attend a meeting with Mr. Hubbell on Monday, April 7th, in the Forum at lunch.
This is a great opportunity to earn community service and make a difference! See you at the forum on Monday!

Special Olympics T-shirts will be on sale for $10 until Wednesday, April 9th. T-shirts will be delivered the end of April. Please see Mr. Hubbell or Mrs. McColley in the County Classes to purchase your t-shirt.

Upward Bound is now accepting applications! Hurry - spots are limited! Applications are available in the activities office with Mrs. Teixeira.

Don’t forget Pennies for Patients is still going on! Last year we raised $500. Let’s beat last year’s score! Remember, the 2nd period class that collects the most money will win a lunch with beverages! Let’s help those in need.

Attention all Sophomores and Juniors applying to be a Link Crew Leader for the 2014-2015 school year! Applications are due today to Mr. Shorba. If you still need an application, they are in Mr. Shorba’s room, 40D, and in the Activities Office.

Don’t forget it is Frito Boat Friday at the Student Store after school!

Clubs and Classes

Titan Robotics members are fundraising to raise money to go to the World Championships! They are selling tri-tip sandwiches with a water for $5 for students and a tri-tip sandwich with chips and a soda for staff for $8. Sandwiches will be available on April 11th. If you would like to buy one, sign up with one of the Robotics team members or go see Mr. Gracia in room 106.

If you want to be involved in major events that go on at NHS, apply for ASB! Class Officer packets are available in the Activities Office now, and commissioner applications will be available when we come back from break!

Hey Key Clubbers! Volunteer for Bunco tonight at 5:30 in Olympic Hall – bring family and friends!

Community Service

The Nipomo Food Bank distribution will be on Tuesday, April 8th at Nipomo Elementary School. If you are interested in volunteering to distribute food from 3:30 to 6pm, please call Janice at 431-0601.

Sports

There will be a Spring Sports and Recognition Rally today from 11:42-12:25, in the gym.
