Any students interested in taking summer school must pick up an application in the counseling offices. Summer school is June 23-July 31st from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. Summer school is offered on AGHS; however transportation will be available from NHS to the AGHS campus. Students are welcome to schedule appointments with their counselors if they are questioning which courses they should take over the summer. Appointments can be set-up in the counseling offices. For priority registration, summer school applications are due by May 23, 2014.

Nipomo High School Theatre is off to see the show! Please help us experience professional theatre at its finest at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival this summer. Come to Miner's on Saturday between 10 am and 1 pm for a fine tri-tip lunch and help us head north to work with and see the nation's elite theatre professionals. $10 buys you a sandwich, chips and a drink at Miner's on Saturday between 10 and 1. Come on down!

Hey Key Clubbers! Come by to volunteer to help on Kid’s Day in the Park on April 12th. You will be able to do face painting and help set up that day.
Titan Robotics members are fundraising to raise money to go to the World Championships! They are selling tri-tip sandwiches with a water for $5 for students and a tri-tip sandwich with chips and a soda for staff for $8. Sandwiches will be available on April 11th. If you would like to buy one, sign up with one of the Robotics team members or go see Mr. Gracia in room 106.
If you want to be involved in major events that go on at NHS, apply for ASB! Class Officer packets are available in the Activities Office and are due THIS FRIDAY. Commissioner applications will be available when we come back from break!
Are you interested in getting the “inside scoop”? Being in “the know”? Join the Titan newspaper staff next year and interview people of interest, write stories, take photos, draw cartoons, and u e professional publishing programs to create The Titan newspaper. If you’re interested, pick up an application from your counselor and turn it in by the end of the month to Ms. Jenssen in room 112.
Seniors
If you applied to Cuesta College and applied for the Promise Scholarship, remember to report to Room 128 at 9:00 TODAY for the Cuesta College Placement Test. Bring your Cuesta ID number and a Photo ID.
Did you ever have Mrs. Foreman as an elementary teacher? Will you continue your education after High School? If so, come by the counseling office and pick up a Dorie Foreman scholarship application.
Attention Seniors: If you are involved in the arts and will continue with it on to college, come by the counseling office and pick up the Nipomo Arts Commission Scholarship Application!

Nipomo Recreation is looking for volunteers to help at the Nipomo Recreation Kids Day/Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12. Community service hours are available during the hours of 8am to 4pm. Please call or text Nancy at Nipomo Recreation at 714-8515 to get signed up to volunteer.
