General

The current “Do You Know What You Owe” list is out and posted in the Activities Office window. Please clear any outstanding debts you have by May 30, 2014. Seniors must have no debts in order to participate in Senior activities.

We have a Lost and Found. If you lost any items this semester; such as sweatshirts, jackets, bags, please identify your item in the Records Office.

This week is our 2nd Annual Titan Olympiad Week!
Today is Western day – YeeHaw!
Tuesday is Compound Word Day – ie: sunglasses would be one person wearing yellow and someone else wearing glasses = sun glasses!
Wednesday is Work Out Wednesday – Leg warmers anyone?
Thursday is Guess Who Day – dress up as your best friend, a celebrity, Disney character or superhero.
Friday is Class Colors Day – seniors black, juniors white, sophomores cardinal, freshman silver.

Don’t forget - if you signed up for the boat regatta, you have this week to build your boat. They are due the day of the regatta, Wednesday, May 21st, before 7:30am in the ASB room.

Come watch the Boat Regatta this Wednesday during lunch at the pool! Will the Fate Lady keep its championship crown or will the Titan Sea not sink and take the championship away this year?

Clubs and Classes

GSA meets every Tuesday at lunch in room 135. Everyone is welcome!

Film Club meets every Tuesday at lunch in room 40B. New members are always welcome.

The NHS Jazz Band concert is on Tuesday, May 20th at 6:00pm. Tickets are $5 for students, staff, and adults. Snacks are complimentary. The concert will feature the NHS Jazz band performing music written specifically for the group with professional trumpeter/composer Josh McDonald. The concert will be lots of fun!

Hey Everyone! Dance Company auditions are right around the corner! Come pick up an audition packet from Ms. Belo in the dance room, 103 if you are interested in trying out!

Juniors

Titan Honor Court applications are now available on the Activities Office Counter. What is Titan Honor Court you may be asking….well it is select group of juniors who are chosen to help out during Senior week and at Graduation. If you are interested, please pick up an application today. Applications are due on Thursday, May 22 to Mrs. Anderson.

Seniors

Reminder to all seniors! Don’t forget to buy your Grad Night ticket for $80. The deadline is Friday, May 23rd. Seats are limited!

Attention all seniors! For all of you interested in becoming a speaker at large during graduation, please attend tryouts at 3pm in the Forum on Wednesday the 21st. Remember to come prepared with your speech to read and bring your A-game!

If you ordered your cap and gown and it is paid in full, please pick it up in the Activities Office.

Seniors - Do you plan on going to Hancock College next year and want more information? A representative from Hancock will be on campus Tuesday, May 20th. He will be out on the quad at lunch and will give a presentation in the library computer lab during 5th period. A sign-up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.

Community Service

Five Cities Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary is asking for volunteer to help place flags on the graves of veterans. See Mrs. Lattimer for more details.

Sports

Do you have a uniform or a piece of equipment from the athletic trainer that you have been meaning to turn in? Now is your chance! Please return any athletic team items to Mr. Souza or Mrs. Teixeira. Unreturned items will be charged to you account.

Track and Field Athletes - Uniforms are due on Tuesday. Meet Coach Rucker in front of the Student Store at lunch to turn in your uniforms. Your student account will be charged if you don't meet the deadline on Tuesday, so don't forget!

Attention new and returning Cross Country athletes. We are meeting this Tuesday and Wednesday at 3 on the track to discuss the upcoming Cross Country season. Are you interested in being part of a successful and fun team? Then come out and learn what it is all about. All new and curious individuals are welcome!
