General

Have you checked the latest “Do You Know What You Owe” list? It is posted in the Activities Office window.

All student’s debts must be cleared to receive your yearbook. Seniors must have debts cleared to participate in Senior Week activities including Magic Mountain.

All library materials are due back this Friday, May 30th. Please return any books or movies you may have checked out and pay all late fees.

Yearbooks will be distributed next week.

Clubs and Classes

This is your last chance this school year to buy a dozen yummy Krispy Kreme donuts. AVID students are selling a dozen of these scrumptious donuts for only $10 through next Tuesday June 3rd. The donuts will be delivered Thursday June 5th on the Early Out day. Don't miss out on this last chance ... order your today.

Attention all AP World History candidates. There is a mandatory meeting for anyone scheduled to take AP World History during the 2014-2015 school year in Mr. Houchin’s classroom, room 114, at lunch today. You will be given a description of the course as well as the summer assignment. Be prompt!

Adventure Club will meet today at lunch in room 114. Come help us plan our next great adventure!

Seniors

Attention Senior Powder Puff Girls and Coaches....Meet in McConnell's room 113 at lunch on Friday the 30th for a special celebration!

A representative from the U.S. Marines will be on campus today. He will be on the quad at lunch and will give a presentation during 5th period in the library computer lab. A sign-up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.

If you ordered your cap and gown and it is paid in full, please pick it up in the Activities Office.

Attention Seniors! The Cuesta Promise Scholarship deadline has been extended to June 16, 2014! If you plan to attend Cuesta College in the Fall Term, you still have time to apply for the Scholarship, which guarantees FREE TUITION for the first semester. Come by Room 16 at the Nipomo High Admin Building on Tuesday, June 3rd for more information!

Community Service

The Nipomo Senior Center is looking for students who need community service hours to deliver meals to seniors every Wednesday from 10:30 – 12:00 noon. See Mrs. Lattimer for details.

Sports

Reminder: If you are planning to participate in any NHS sports practices or tryouts this summer you must have a 2014-15 sports clearance package on file with the Athletic Director. You may purchase your packet in the Activities Office for $40.

Any girls who are interested in wrestling next season, please come to an informational meeting Friday at lunch in room 147.

Anyone interested in playing boys soccer next year, there is a mandatory meeting next Tuesday, June 3rd at 3pm in the stadium bleachers. Please contact Coach Billy if you have any questions.
