General

Yearbook distribution and sales: Freshmen through juniors can begin to pick-up/buy yearbooks today during break or lunch. All student debts must be cleared to receive your yearbook.

The last day for after school tutoring in the library is tomorrow, June 4th. Come in and study for finals!!!

Have you checked the latest “Do You Know What You Owe” list? It is posted in the Activities Office window.

Reminder to all students – if you have a balance due to the Titan Diner, please pay your debt by Friday, June 6th.

This Friday is the last day the Student Store will be open. Store hours are 2:45 – 4PM.

Clubs and Classes

Hey Key Clubbers! Last meeting is today at lunch in room 150. Say goodbye to graduating seniors and celebrate! Bring snacks and drinks to share if you want. Pizza will be provided.

Attention all students signed up or interested in taking AP Government next year, please come to a mandatory lunch meeting today in Mr. Deichler’s room 134. See you there!

Attention all AP World History candidates. If you haven’t already met with Mr. Houchin to get your syllabus and summer assignment you must do so on Wednesday at lunch in room 114. You will be given a description of the course as well as the summer assignment. Be prompt!

Are you bored? Do you want to have a hands-on class that integrates all the things that you know and like about technology and more? Would you like to be part of the “Titan Geek Squad? Would you like to learn more about how to use and integrate all the various kinds of technologies available and to teach your peers and your teachers, too? You can have a lot of fun while you expand your knowledge of technology in the areas of video, audio, graphics and its integration in fun projects and presentation. You can teach adults and minors while you earn five credits per semester in this cool class. Interested? Come to Ms. Latimer and sign-up. The space is limited so do not wait! Once we have the names of those interested there will be a meeting to provide you more specific information.

Seniors

Seniors must have all debts cleared to participate in Senior Week activities.

Attention Seniors! The Cuesta Promise Scholarship deadline has been extended to June 16, 2014! If you plan to attend Cuesta College in the Fall Term, you still have time to apply for the Scholarship, which guarantees FREE TUITION for the first semester. Come by Room 16 at the Nipomo High Admin Building tomorrow for more information!

Community Service

The Nipomo Senior Center is looking for students who need community service hours to deliver meals to seniors every Wednesday from 10:30 – 12:00 noon. See Mrs. Lattimer for details.

Nipomo Food Bank needs volunteers to assist in food distribution on Tuesday, June 10th, at 190 E. Price Street from 3:30 – 6pm. Please call Janice at 430-0601 if you are interested.

Sports

Any girls wanting to wrestle next season who missed the informational meeting please see Coach Magdaleno in room 147 ASAP for summer practice info.

The Track and Field banquet will be tonight at 6:00 in Olympic Hall. Please bring a dessert.

Reminder: If you are planning to participate in any NHS sports practices or tryouts this summer you must have a 2014-15 sports clearance package on file with the Athletic Director. You may purchase your packet in the Activities Office for $40.

Anyone interested in playing boys soccer next year, there is a mandatory meeting today at 3pm in the stadium bleachers. Please contact Coach Billy if you have any questions.
